1. Can I suggest you do some fact checking before posting?

The women stole it from Londis on the 20th October.

At least one of them was charged and arrested. Due in court on the 31th of this month

And the wind your neck in award goes to Arwen.

Fine, let a forum about bikes turn into spammy chain letters that everyone simply believes to be true.

There is enough shitty websites for that already. I don't need to visit here any more if that's what it's gonna be filled with.

  2. Why take the ACF off? I leave it on all year and it makes removing summer insect splats really easy to remove. In fact I apply it in the spring and in the autumn.

I remove it as the dust during the summer months sticks to it, and it looks horrendous.

  3. I ACF-50'ed the rebel the day after I got it a few weeks ago. Been out on it nearly every day since

As for getting ACF-50 off... lovely soapy warm bath does it. Warm water and a decent car shampoo - or snow foam.

  4. Totally ask to get the path widended if it is causing diffuclties with the wheelchair and it is too much work for you to take on. Nothing worse than having to squeeze a chair through something just to get in and out of your own home. My nephew is in a wheelchair so I can relate to that problem.

  5. Oh the joys of both of us being bikers! Our garage is for bikes… however many we can fit in

Is there any space out the front of your house at all dynax ? Where we live there is lots of tenements, they normally have a space of about 3ft width in front of them. Many people around here put bike tents or build a wooden shelter for their bikes in them. It's not as secure as a garage, but keeps them off the street and somewhere where a ground anchor can be located.

  6. This is the only bike I have found I can do it on Raygun95  Even on my MSX I can only get one foot flat at a time !

Got rid of the rear seat last night and replaced it with a rack from Beowulf. Just need to get some black bolts to replace the silver coloured ones.

New exhaust should arrive today or tomorrow

  7. Do mock tests by yourself. Be super critical of your own riding when doing a mock mod 2.

Do you think you would pass? = Go sit your A1.

If you think you need instructions, then do full A. It will cost no difference to get instruction on a big bike from what I gather.

Having your full A gives you the freedom to get a bigger bike down the line if you want. Yes 250's are not much quicker than 125's. But there are a whole fleet of 300-400cc bikes that are much more responsive than a 125, but are still small and light.

  8. So today I said good bye to my first big bike, my lovely F700gs.

I traded it in for the much lower and lighter feeling Honda CMX 500 Rebel!

Mix emotions over the trade in, but I am so glad I have done it now. Made all the better by the guys at Ecosse Motorcycles in Dundee who made the whole process easier than cooking dinner!

We only went for a short ride today as the temperature has dropped and it was threating to rain rather badly. The bike is lovely and smooth, and riding through town especially I noticed the massive difference in being able to reach the ground with both feet at the same time

I've already bought a slip on exhaust and a luggage rack to fit to it next week. Still working on what to do with the bars and adding heated grips to it. And figuring out all the things and options with the trakking !
