  1. i bought this bike after the first 600 miles i went to get the first service the mechanic shook his head and said it wouldnt be economical to service it. I then had to pay to get it scrapped however because it was so cheap even though it only lasted 600 miles and the scrappage fee it was still cheaper then using public transport for a couple of months so i think it was a good deal.
  2. I got stuck in a line of traffic on my test for about ten minutes I didn't attempt to filter and I didn't get any minors for not making progress. My opinion is why do something risky that is not expected by the examiner. However if you're on a 70mph dual carriageway and there is a car doing 50mph in the left lane of course you should overtake.
  3. my advice is just to relax module 1 is not so bad once you are out on the pad, module 2 just treat it as a normal ride the examiners are normal blokes who ride motorbikes themselves and aren't out to fail you they just want to ensure you are safe enough for the roads. I got a few minors for going too close to cars when i went around speed bumps. I want to get the Yamaha MT 09 Tracer as I want a bike I can use to commute to work and which would also be comfortable for touring with a pillion.
  4. passed mod 1 and mod 2 today I cant believe it i am never usually this lucky
  5. I am currently doing my DAS and have paid £600 for a four day course including the test fees. Mod 1 was booked for day 3 and Mod 2 for day 4. MOD 1 was cancelled by the DSA due to bad weather however my training school was able to move my mod 1 test to the same day of Mod 2 (mod 1 in the morning mod 2 in the evening(if i pass)). Which is fine. However the weather is looking bad again if my test is cancelled again where will i stand legally as when the test is rebooked again I would be renting the bike for a fifth day and I have paid for a four day course would I have to pay the training center another day of bike rental due to the dsa cancellation although it would have been out of my hands ?
  6. when you pay the deposit/buy the bike they will give you the bikes registration number you can use this to insure it then once insured you can ride it away from the dealership.
