  1. I'd probably go to the doctors if my helmet was leaking, rather than posting about it on a motorcycle forum
  2. Like many other's, I couldn't reccomend pilot roads enough. Got the 2's at the mo, not sre if im going to try the 3's next time or just get 2's again.
  3. Tom and myself should be there. Also his sister has just passed her CBT and bought a 100cc scooter, so I think she is coming along to help boost her confidence.
  4. At work or I would love to. Usually meet up at Hartford Marina near Huntingdon on a tuesday evening if you're interested
  5. I'm in depending on dates. I start a new job in November so if we know by then I can tell them I have prebooked holiday. How are these new rules going to affect us? I've made quite a few modifications to my bike
  6. As long as the weather is good, Tom and I will be there again.
  7. Ah very kind and much appreciated! I've never seen an allen key hole so big
  8. Yes I don't see why not, not that far. It's usually a pretty good meet on a sunny evening, plus you would get to meet us lot
  9. Cheers mate, it was obvioulsy already rounded off before it came out as it has been tapped, so god knows why he put it back in It didn't come from there before either as those bolts were always fine
  10. Ok thanks, just getting them on was a nightmare. For some reason the bloke who helped me with my bike has used a warped bolt on one hole in the tail unit so I can't take it off now
  11. Sound's good Aaron If we have no luck with that I will take up your offer Dave. Won't be back in time to come to your's tonight though.
  12. I was attempting to put my passenger foot pegs back on last night. The allen key is ridiculously massive and I couldn't find one to fit in 3 sets of allen keys...ended up having to tighten them the best I could with my fingers. Has anyone got a ridiculously big allen key they wouldn't mind lending me?
  13. I should be. Bringing a mate along for his first meet and may also have a pillion.
  14. Sorry I missed this. Moving alway's takes longer than you think. Unfortunetly I did not get chance to collect my bike until about 5pm on Sunday.
  15. Not this again, we already established last time that the CBR600RR has a faster 0-60 time than both the SV and GSXR
  16. Using whose definition of safe? Traffic engineers country-wide are already doing this, but they use "safe" as presently defined and people are still dying and getting injured. "Highest speed at which it is ever safe" would lead to 5mph on all urban roads as it's the highest you would want to travek is a party of school kids were walking along the road, or the dustbin lorry was ahead of you Precisely, it’s a fantastic idea, but maximum safe speed is a matter of opinion and of course affected by many constantly changing variables. In my opinion I don’t believe an agreement would ever be reached on the matter.
  17. That's all well and good, but unfortunetly peoples stupidity and respect for the road seems to have degressed.
  18. The point is if people actually listened to the advice given to them they might think twice about thier driving habits. People shouldn't have to be prosecuted to learn about safer driving and let the consquences sink in. The trouble is most people are ignorant when it comes to this subject and think they know best. If you are taking advice on your driving from a traffic officer you'd be wise to jump at the oppertunity to learn a thing or two. They are expert's and they do know what they are talking about.
  19. I am after an R1, I must have been dreaming. Well not particularly neil on R1. hmmm. doesn't sound that bad actually... Cheers. Get in Neil
  20. I would like to see more education and stops with a friendly warning/advice. I'm sure most police officers would. The trouble is if they get a ticket it's a 'money making scam', if they get pulled over and given words of advice and some educating the police should be 'out catching real criminals'.
  21. Neil rides a GSXR750, so I'm not sure whats happened
