Storage Box Overnight?

Only leave documents and waterproof suit under the seat over night as the lock and cover are on the bike lol -
Hi All, Had new scooter this week and I just want to check regarding storage boxes. Is it safe to leave them on the bike over night? The bike has a cover on it overnight but I just want to check if I should be bringing it in every night? Especially with the weather getting colder? Thanks
