Just wondered if any CBR owners can recommend me the best tyres suited to the 600f. I haven't had my bike long and I'm just riding round with what it came with, 1 Michelin and a Pirelli, which obviously isn't ideal, so what to you recommend for the best performance? Thanks in advance.

I'm wanting to ride to work tomorrow, trouble is I need to cart some kit along with me. Bearing in mind i have no storage/luggage I was thinking of shoving a holdall on the back and bungeeing it on. How safe is this? Or would you not recommend? Any tips for ways of strapping it on good and proper? Thanks

Sensible idea Nick. Although it's quite possible that this time there won't be 20,000 other bikers in the picture to confuse things! Personally the other day I just picked someone in front to focus on and didn't let them out of my sight!

- Mine doesn't seem to be working. I've only had the bike since Thursday. I've spoken to a few people, there seem to be mixed opinions! One says it's a common problem, others say on Hondas it has to be absolutely baked to go up. Well when we got to Madeira Drive the other day it felt pretty warm but gauge still hadn't moved. Bearing in mind I had ridden it 45 mins to services, then down to the seafront which probably took an hour at a guess. Any thoughts? I've contacted the garage I bought it from and hopefully they can sort it, I just wondered what you lot had to say on the matter.

Great idea. I do like the Bury Hill option, bit more interesting than riding up the A23 again. I'm also up for an Ace Cafe trip soon, if anyone else is?
