    Going well ta Monkey! Couldn't start it up today, I need to get to grips with the choke and er, not flooding the engine! My Dad came round this evening and got it going first time Ah well, I'll get used to it...

    Blimey, I was riding round Brighton this evening, can't say I noticed an unusual amount...although I didn't go to Madeira Drive. Was a nice afternoon/evening for a ride though

    DON'T DO IT! As others have said it will invalidate your insurance so effectively you will be driving without insurance, AS WELL AS driving otherwise in accordance with your driving licence. Both of which could lead to a driving ban, a hefty fine and possibly a prison sentence. Not to mention, if you don't have your full licence, a qualified instructor has not assessed your riding and you may be a danger to yourself and other road users. Who knows what could happen. It's not worth it!

    No, still bikeless unfortunately, probably will be for the time being - still saving up. Literally had to start from nothing and I'm not exactly minted at the moment. Well I've made £50 on ebay to start, what will that get me, the chain? My dad said he would look into getting me insured on his cb500 when his renewal comes up next month - so who knows I might be able to make it to a meet on that some time

    Ohhhh, my Dad applied to be a train driver a couple of years ago, got offered the job then decided not to take it!!! Maaaaaadness I tell you!

    One more q, what's the best way to dry them out if you've been caught in the rain? I'd be concious of putting them near any heat in case the leather cracks/goes dry and brittle, but at the same time don't want them rotting/going mouldy! Anyone

    I'm going up on the Friday, leaving straight from work, just in time for rush hour oh well - it's worth it by the sounds of it - it's going to be a great weekend!! Oh and I get sent to leper's corner 'cos I'm driving my car, haha!
