Knowing lynn as you do thats a given lol
  2. Erm.... slow speed control ofc! Remember U turns? First of all its not what were talking about here and secondly I dont use rear brake for slow control or when doing u turns, apart from anything else if needs be i can put my foot down but I use clutch control always have, I dont use the rear brake have said that many times on this forum. I see this thread as a reason not to read these publications there more trouble than there worth!!
  3. Why the hell were you told to use the rear brake only if i was to use one brake only it would be the front....oh wait I do! If you use the rear brake only enjoy your accidents ?)
  4. Then walk and stop holding the rest of us up!
  5. Thanks am sure your right. I havent done too bad over the last 24 years without it
  6. i tend to agree, but would worry about pushing people to drive beyond their comfort zone. If thats the case then I would suggest they are a danger and shouldnt be driving.
  7. Yeh but cars couldnt go that quick or stop either if they managed to back then anyway till Shelby stuck his oar in

Stuff packed bike washed, tho I dont know why everything is good to go...see ya tomoro
  9. Never even heard of it till today! I dont like books, does it come out on dvd
  10. My speedier runs are generally on narrow roads, crappy surfaces, bends hump backed bridges and sometimes shit strewn with nowt but dry stone walls or trees and hedges, but thats just the joy of living in yorkshire and I love it Took the wife down some of them in the car her reaction was, am not so keen on you riding now Ive seen where you ride lol I would be interested to see if or when some of the 125 riders upgrade to something more powerful change their attitude towards speed.
  11. Mine doesnt but getting there is a whole lot easier with one!
  12. In a response to what tango said I will add I dont and wont mock those that want to stay at the limit, some may be screaming get out of the way but Tho sometimes in a rush I may not like it that is there right and it is the law. I dont go excessivly fast where its obvious I too will sit at 80ish on the mway but out and about in the middle of nowwhere the roads are my race track But even then 3 figure speeds are rare cos lets be honest we prefer twisties and losing my license is in the back of my mind ...somewhere!
  13. Also supppose it depends on what size bike your riding
  14. I can suggest that yes, do I have proof no, do you have proof to the contrary? If not then ny statement stands, I dont know of anyone that sticks to the limits and am sorry road engineers use it when determening speed limits, as there bollox I syggest that this also proves the numbers incorrect!
  15. I will say I dont stick to speed limits, there a joke, there for where the police are and cameras! I will ride to the conditions and my personel feeling, goes for the car too! I spent 4 months trying to stick to the limits it was the most vulnerable I have ever felt on a bike, downright dangerous, because people dont stick to the limits! Oh and them stats are a joke, 85% stick to the limits bollox probably the other way around, what is your source for these numbers? I would suggest the numbers of offences committed would also point to this being bollox!
  16. Most will probably say transport your work clothing or do you have somewhere to cahnge when you get to work?
  17. yeh it was only 4 days, wish i'd have missed it lol Well hopper coming off didnt help but half the season to go, still think were fighting over second place unless some of us go for some long shots that come off!
  18. Having just watched the 2nd bsb race at+30 been stiffed by whatever was wrong with hoppers bike, but we have to see how the whole round goes not just one weekends racing!
  19. Think the podium places maybe a little closer after this weekend
  20. I have never spent £150 on a helmet, always upto this last time bought one of last seasons designs rather than bang upto date ones. I wouldnt put too much faith in sharp tests either, fit is more important. Asw for hein gericke stuff had mine 8 years now and when I need some new stuff its the first place i will go good value and good quality!
  21. Ive had one of these covers for 5 years and it hasnt fallen apart http://www.whitesconservatories.co.uk/acatalog/Bnbury.redbrick.new.jpg

    Strange that me too Roy!
  23. I dont fet how soft luggage is quicker to remove, with monolock/ monokey stuff one key turn remove, to fit slide and lock:? I have used a tailpack in the past and it did fine it was a ballache to put on and take off but it was cheap, however now i have the topbox and its way way better, yep expensive £200 for it all but just works better and the pillion seat is still free. When not needed it stays in the gaage and tbh even fully loaded makes no difference to the bikes handling for me.
  24. The csa dont care I have had my share of runnings with them and so has my bro and we ended up with the kids they are useless, but you cant argue with them! Oh and my ex sits in a 3 bed council house on benefits and doesnt even have the kids! Oh and my wife gets nowt from her childs father either even tho we still get letters from the csa saying he should pay ex...ah f**k em and f**k it!
