Sounds to me like theres something up, if the bike is used regularly there should be no need for a charger, even if you have an alarm. Ive never needed one ecept with the blade but that had a dodgy electrical system.

Just have to say if you have never been go, go when its quiet I just had one of the best, if not the best riding experiances ever. For someone who likes and enjoys fast road riding it is brilliant fun and even tho I respected the skills of the guys that do the TT now having seen the roads and especially how tight bottom of bray hill is my respect has grown! We had about 9/10 hours of glorious weather to test ourselves and the bikes performance the speeds achieved wernt mega but more than quick enough, passing peoples drives at 120 and keith hit 135 on the mountain myself as a first timer 125 but those speeds were achievable more so regularly on the lower roads and the stunning coast road to laskey where myself and steve had a little sprint st v fz1 battle lol. One of the bizzare things is when your tanking along over the ton a bit and it just then says 30 on a sign you soon learn how bikes scrub speed Anyway stunning place when its dry and heres a few pics.

Have decided i may if I get my bonus next year treat myself to a satnav as I cant always rely on others to navigate and i want to do more touring, have always regarded them as not necessary upto this point as the wife has mentioned getting one before. So maybe if she wants to use it she'll split the cost with me

If I decide to do it, woukd it be ok to overnight at yours 4hour ride down

I really dont think theres anything wrong with the system as it is tbh the roads are not that dangerous, its not like we break the limits already imposed and instantly have an accident! Unfortunatly the thing with the modern world is some people believe zero accidents is actually achievable, they are simply living in cloud cookoo land!

Not only that but how can they say that upto now 40 is safe but tomoro cos we changed the sign 40 is too dangerous as is 35 so its now a 30 no accidents just someones opinion, before long way thungs are going anything over a 30 will be unlawful but in no way more safe. Reducing speed limits dumbs down peoples skill levels, and that can cause problems when these people decide to venture onto a motorway or fast dual carrigeway...they shit themselves!
