The way I go is from ripon do leyburn, masham, hawes, sedburgh devils bridge Or if you have more time head upto penrith through kirkstone pass to hartside stunning views and come back through alston middleton in teasdale brough etc I will hopefully doing this run in aug.

Get a bike with abs problem solved But as stated if your locking wheels often your braking too late and too hard. You could also try riding in a lower gear and let the engine do some of the braking when you roll off the throttle.

I can understand why first time drivers premiums are loaded but why should mine be just cos I havent held a policy in my name, I havent had a break from driving but I am treated like a new driver. Once you have a driving history premiums should be based on that history. There has to be some sense in what new drivers are charged, you pass a test but then cant gain any experiance because you cant afford to insure a vehicle, that makes no sense at all. I would hate to see restricted licenses on cars, if this was the case my friends son wouldnt be able to drive at all at the moment.

That argument about nhs funds is a complete moot point unless you live a completely healthy lifestyle and adopt every quacks suggestions to keep your own body in 100 percent tip top condition! Oh and as a tax payer if i want the nhs to rebuild my body because someone didnt see me then i am dam well entitled to it! And how the hell does non modification of motorcycles also prevent accidents, but tnis is more down to continual interfearance from unelected officials in europe. I like freedom of choice am sure wars have been fought for this -

After getting to hull dry we were held up getting our boarding cards by the useless woman handing them out, and we got soaked! Some pics from yamahas 50th exhibition The gang! Our walk into assen town its a lovely area! Keiths interest after looking at the yamaha exhibition! Assen town, hmmm so tempting lol Riders parade lol Race day, bloody freezing!

You only have to read my first post on this thread to understand why some of the youth of today are driving round in powerful cars. http://www.themotorbikeforum.co.uk/view ... =2&t=39281 That is also another problem young people cant afford to insure cars so turn to bikes and find they can afford to insure powerful ones so it appeals. Bogof is right, they will see the statistics as unacceptable in this health and safety driven world, so until we stop throwing ourselves at the scenery it will continue, maybe this measure is more acceptable than a blanket ban on powerful bikes or enforced power limits. -
