  1. hi, jake were had you got in mind, if you post a ride, people will jump on board if it suitable.stating if it's 125 friendly, suitable for inexperienced riders, what day and date how far is the route, destination, meeting points, time window.is it for experienced riders, fast ride slow ride etc, you get the drift. bearing in mind some of us old duffers only ride slow bikes.
  2. hi jake and welcome.
  3. I got a full version of the tyre from tomtom when I got my satnav.I couldn't take to it.i prefer the one I use.but google maps is a decent satnav if you don't have a motorcycle sat nav.some folks just use a plain old map or are very good at remembering routes. think I'm just into technology.
  4. Scala rider g9x is what I use.
  5. Brilliant review and first post. whatever bike you choose just enjoy and ride safe.
  6. Thanks,I make the route, then save and it gives you different options for different sat navs download and transfer to my routes folder on sat nav. Pretty straightforward I use gpx files for tomtom. You can also view other peoples routes if they share like me .it's a great tool.
  7. I and maccwilo07 AKA MARK had a great ride on Sunday, set the sat-nav to follow the twisty bits and it didn't let us down. some of the B roads are fantastic. didn't get round the full route due to time constrictions took a detour down the A548 what a stroke of luck belting road HARDLY ANY CARS.. also messing with our new scala rider g9x headsets held us back a bit.which by the way are brilliant, the ride is far more fun when you can chat and ride and will be even better when we learn how to use properly. here's some pics. also, I use this for planning routes which I then send to my satnav. .anyway, here's the map https://www.motogoloco.com/map/ Only works on PC,mobile app coming soon.

    my motorcycle

hi and thanks, I like the sound of the sp cans with DB killers inserted. but I like the look of the standard cans.i have thought about a straight bar conversion and a quick shifter. I think a bog standard Hayabusa is plenty powerful for anyone, so really all my mods are cosmetic, to be honest. I had a zzr 1100 and 1200 in the past also a zx12r, but the Hayabusa for me is on a different planet for midrange power. don't know why it has 6 gears.could get away with three.
  12. Sunday 9th anyone got anything planned.
  13. had a ride today, excellent weather.done Mold, Denbigh, Betws-y-Coed, Ffestiniog, Bala, Corwen, Llangollen, Ruthin, home great company.plenty of cops out around the ponderosa cafe area.tons of motorcycles, the most I have seen this year. here's some pics. make sure the old fellow is ok.

  23. i used pull my hair out years ago, removing screws from my old two strokes. bought my self a set of long stemmed t-bar screwdrivers in the early 80s,work well but some of the bolts chewed up, and sometimes needed the good old impact driver to remove, especial on the crankcases . thank god for allen bolts. i always replace the majority of screws and bolts on any used bike i buy.one of my pet hates, is chewed or rusty screws and bolts.
  24. great 200 mile ride around north/mid wales on the hayabusa.very warm and not much traffic, very enjoyable.plenty of bikes out and about. here a few pics.
