Howdy. Yep its def in neutral and kill switch not hit (!!!) According to the Haynes if it clicks solenoid is ok, so looks like it could be motor, I did give it a good thrashing as the bike had been stood still for a while so needed some encouragement.... hmm maybe im wrong then but mine clicked and it was the solenoid, im sure theres a way to check which one it is but i dont know but someone will do!

only you can decide which one you want mate!

im not sure prob is but im not very good with electrics, listen to where the click is coming from and you should end up at the solenoid

if its any consolation korb he used to race for honda! lol

as long as your pillion isnt a right fatty and your not doing mega miles i dont reckon it'll be a prob ive never experienced any probs!

sounds like the solenoids gone, had the same thing happen on my old bike, pretty easy/cheap to fix yourself as well!

make sure your lights are clean can make a hell of a difference!

get them slightly tight as they give over time, aint nowt worse than a saggy bum!!

yeah i thought that but when it was restricted it ran fine very smooth you couldnt really tell that it was restricted. so just seems a little weird!

haven't managed to get a plug out yet as their so bloody hard to get too, i've spoken to the people who restricted it and they said that the jetting wasnt touched will it still need rejetting?

nope standard egg sauce, think i may have to chuck it in the garage and let them fix it!

How do you tell when your carbs are unbalanced i've just de-restricted my bike and now its not running right im getting a couple of flat spots higher up in the revs, i spoke to a mechanic briefly today and he said it could be the carbs was just wondering what the symptoms were? Cheers, Tom.

all done didnt take long now time to test ride altho its raining but i cant resist!!

Hey guys and girls my cb1 is currently restricted to 33hp but my restriction is now no more! so does anyone know how the restrict inline 4's? im pretty competent mechanically but need to know where to look etc. any help would be great! Cheers, Tom.
