Thanks for the replies! Yeah I should have mentioned that I am 28 and have held a full drivers licence for 10 years. I did have a look at the gov website before but it didn't seem to make it clear as to what I would need. Thanks again!

Hi Everyone, Apologies if this question has been asked before I just can't seem to find a clear answer anywhere. First off, I have never taken any training courses or any tests with regards to driving a Motorbike, not in this country anyway (I used to drive a bike in South Africa about 12 years ago). Looking at my drivers licence I have Category A code 79(3) . . . which I understand means that I can drive a tricycle if I so wished. My question is, what exactly do I need to do to be able to get myself on a bike again? Do I just need to do Mod 1 & 2 or do I need to do some sort of CBT as well? This was so much easier in South Africa where it was a case of sitting a written test and they hand you a licence, no experience, no training. Easier, but by god not what I would call safe.
