Hi all ok this is complicated so ill do my best to explain it, I have a honda cbf600 and today its had a problem with shifting gears when im in say 2nd gear and i try to change to 3rd i pull up on the leaver and it stays in 2nd, i have to slow right down and pull the leaver out and let the clutch out slowly and then it'll go to third, it happens bettween all gears butt 2nd to 3rd is the worst secondly when im in first and i push down it used to stop ie not move down at all but now it moves down as if it was selecting a gear BELOW first although it stays in 1st, this happens again in 6th gear if i pull up it feels live its going up a gear although im already in top gear, but still stays in 6th, now the rod wich the selector peddle connects to as some sidward play in it abut 1 to 2 mill (in and out of the gear box) if i pull it out as far as i can the problem dissapers, but as soon as i push or it vibrates its way back in it come back. Whats going on ith my bike lol, is it easy to fix, and whats the likely cause, can i do it (resnably compitant diy mechanic have dismantled 125 and 250 gear boxes befor with secess) its onli doen about 11k cheers guys!!!1

i had a go with nikwax just made it clean, dunno what im gonna do, dont know of any other washin products, the lineing feels ok to me, the jacket is a bit too big for me, but its never been a porblem in the other 2 years dont know why it sould be now,

Hi m8 cheers yeah ill have a look i am buttoning the falp down, but it does bunch up a little, the jackets in good condition for its age, i recently washed it to try and fix it as you said, but never really changed it at all,

Hi Guys, Im an all year rider and i have a hein gerike crusie gtx jacket was top notch when i bought it around 279 quid i think, but just after christmas its got really really cold down the zip area and across my waist, its been fine all other winters and in even colder weather than this that we are having now, is there anything i can do to revive my jackets warmth apart from wearing more layers, the jackets only 2 years old, but i dont think warenty will cover it because it doesnt let wet in! any help would be gratefully recieved,

took it back to my honda deal, (were im not going anymore) stone cold, showed them ect they kept if for 3 days, they spun me some story about an injector being blocked, when i picked the bike up it was warm which wass supsicious to me, took it home next morning it wouldnt start up very well, so i took the tank off drained all the fuel went round all the electrics with WD40 spark plugs coils ect, fueled it up, put a shot of red ex in it, been riding it a few days now, no probs yet, hope its sorted

I dont know how i have done it, but i have found a honda that is unrealiable and my luck is that its mine haha, most mornings when i come to start it up it really struggles normally goes up on 3 cylenders and coughs u along and its fine in the end, i took it too honda they plugged it into there computer told me it was fine, i get no fuel injection code flashing on the light, which leads me to belive it maybe something else, i have done the obvious such as cleaned all the plugs air filter oiled all the electrics ect to no avail, it still doesnt always start, its worse in wet weather my i add, and its kept in a garage when im not on it, so im stumped, its a cbf 600 faired version and its 2008 model, fuel injected, its got the old cbr600rr motor in it, any help greatly aprectied thanks guys
