  1. Just tried the map, it didn't port so well over to an 09 vin map lol so no go there. What about Tps sensor being slightly off?
  2. If your air filter seated correctly or your air box not seating correctly on the inlet to the mainfold
  3. I get a bit of that, did the map solve it for you?
  4. So why would it snatch like that. Too rich too weak on mixture?? Or simple not enought back pressure ??
  5. Hi tango, yeah I've looked at the 05 06 aftermarket map last night, what I've done is copied the tables across to my 09 vin map so the values will be the same in a 09 format map. I'm not at home till the end off the week, will try it when I get home
  6. There are no error codes at all, stock map doesn't work well with aftermarket pipes.
  7. Guys please help me! Ok I feel a little better now, I shall explain I have a sprint st 1050 2009, about 6 months ago I installed trident exhausts which sounds fantastic, so I pulled out tune ecu, put the correct tor map into my bike, reset the adaptions correctly as described in the manual, and went off for a ride. However if you roll off the throttle and try to roll it back on between 6000 and 4000 rpm the bike won't power back up, it just hesitates then snatches back in as you open the throttle more. So that's the outline of my issue, Since then I have tried all sorts, I have reset the adaptions again by using tune ecu and the 12 min tune with out tune ecu, I have tried disabling the O2 sensor, I had moderate success using the b69 map from the tune ecu page however that is a custom map and my bike won't idle properly using that. I have tried the redundant maps that the current one replaced, no further success. I'm at the point now were I want to rip the tridents out and put my standards back in, god knows what it's done to my bike! Only think I was thinking today was maybe its a fault O2 sensor? Guys please help Thank you
  8. ill definatly try the towel, its not a pinking noise its more of a dull knock, like a cowbell thats pretty much exactly how it sounds, like i said ass soon as the revs raise a couple of hundred it goes away its odd
  9. thats what i think megawatt because its not in any pattern or rythem but you know how it is, you always dream up worst case in your head ill get a video tomorrow or friday for you guys to cast your eyes over
  10. could be like u said megawatt good idea ill check that out tomorrow too thanks
  11. thanks for the responses so for guys, yeah it only happens at idle ill try and get a video up tomorrow morning, its coming from under the tank i engine, goes when ur riding because its not idling anymore, but if you freewheel with the clutch in and its still cold u can still hear it etc,
  12. haha dont say that mate ull curse it!
  13. Hi all got a sprint st 1050 2009, and ive been trying to fix a noise thats appeared on it for nearly 2 months now and had no joy, when you start the bike from cold it makes a knocking noise the best thing i can compare it too is a cow bell knocking, its in no rythem or order as soon as you rev it up or when the bike is warm it goes, its just really really annoying me, ive tried the obvious like n checking for loose parts etc , ive changed the oil and filter, just done my best to work it out but cant get it, it also doesnt make any odds whether the clutch is in or out ether, thanks for your help guys im sure someone will know.
  14. Fork oil replaced still no goof guys any more ideas I'm stuck now
  15. how do i check the for allingment, the oils never been done i had the bike since new..
  16. yeah the nut is all good, maybe the fork oil, but im not sure surely it would do it alll the time if that was the case???
  17. Hi all was wondering if you could give me some pointers i have a 08 cbf600 its done about 20k or so and at high 80 plus if you hit a cats eye or a slight bump or put the front brakes on the hanlebars and the whole front end vibrates so fiercly you cant see your mirrors, its absoulty fine until you hit a sight bump or something and this triggers it, the only way to stop it is to slow back down to 70ish and it goes away, the wheel is vibrating back and forth not side to side. my first thought was steering bearings so i put new taper roller bearing on it, and it still does it the wheel bearings are ok everything is touqued down properly, i have fiddled with the preload screws on the top of my forks and this does nothing ether, the tire is in a fair condition and it was blananced properly. im thinking old fork oil??? its never been done , but im really pissed abt this now. The bike rides smooth at every other speed/gear/rpm just above 80 is, oh and it doesnt seem to happen after about 120 lol. any ideas at all guys????? Cheers
  18. thats a good point yeah could be somethin inside the silencer, ill have a look tommorow

    suzuki gs125 prob

check your pilot jet in your carb... its the little one, and your pilot mix screw, i think it should be 1 1/2 turns out, but double check that, i had one of these bikes as a kid,
  20. lol sorry guys its a senke sk125 its pretty much an old style cg125, it runs perfectly fine, its just annoying i dont want the thing to just blow up on the way to work, i dont think my push rods are bent, its doesnt sound like a big end going i have had that before, however i had thought of the little end, would that make the bike burn oil, engine mounts are a possability i guess....
  21. na overhead cam (ohc) is driven by chain, ohv is has the cams in the crankcase and uses pushrods to open or close the valves so there is no cam chain. ill check the oil though... but i recon its ok as i only did it 300mile ago.
  22. im afraid it doesnt have a cam chain its ohv
  23. Hi all i have a chinese cg 125 with the old ohv engine in it and its making a loud rattling / tapping noise all the time apart from at idle, i checked my valve clearences and they are fine, its really bugging me, any ideas for what i could check, i have checked all of the engine mounts etc to no avail, thanks
  24. lol yeah i know u shudda heard me swear in my lid,
