    Welding

yeah it'll be real hard to weld that, you would need a really low ampage welder maybe, it will just melt everything, you would have to sleave it to get it to work but then the rest of the pipe may even be too thin to weld too, try gun gum bandage and putty
  4. recon i have fixed it guys my own foult really, i remember when i took the wheel out that the two locking nuts that hold the axle in on ether side were very tight, when i did them back up i did them tight but probably not as tight as they were because i didnt wanna buggere the threads in my fork bottoms, but i just went out and did them back up super tight and all is well for now................ haha cheers for your help guys!!
  5. tyre is all ok its only done a few hundred miles
  6. tyre presures are all ok, ill just add that this vibration its quite bad, its enough to cause you to lose your balence, its quite bad, it doesnt just tingle your fingers
  7. the chap who did the tire is a good friend so im sure he would have done it properly, im thinking it maybe need balencing again, just wanted to see if there are any other things i can try, will definatly check the presures good tomorrow, yes everything is tight, can poor balencing only affect at high speeds sometims ??
  8. its those little clip over ones, not lost any serouis weight to my knowlage, im only 19 and my jacket still fits haha
  9. its a 600, i have done 20000 miles on it and its never done it up untill tonight, so you dont think its my tire balencing

  11. hi all i have a cbf and i recently got a new front tyre on it about 250 300 miles ago anyway and thisevening whne i was out on it it all of a suddon started violenty vibrating the bars, only a high speeds 90 100mph + i know my tyre was balanced bcasue its been fine till now, but could this be causeing my forks to wobble if one of the weighs has fallen off it still has one on it, my wheel axle and head bearings etc seem tight, its all i can think off, any help aprreciate thanks!!1!
  12. dont mean to burst you bubble m8 but 65 70 is a fair speed for a 125, especialy a 4stroke one, now i was 17 once and all the kids on the net say yea my bike will do 95, the another lad will post o mine will do 95.4, lol seriously though dont worry they put these massivly opatmistic top gears on for going down hills, unless you wanna spend thousands boaring it out lightweigh cranks new pipes airbox injection bla bla dont worry, do ur test and buy a cbr600rr
  13. this thing seems to be open when idleing im not even sure if it moves because when im going along i cant see it, i would imagain it opens as the revs get greater not vice versa
  14. Hi all i have a cbf600 and i took the side panel of the other day and i noticed a valve on the air intake to the air box, its connected up to a vacuum diaphragm (looks like!!) and the hose disappears somewere down towards the throttle bodys, the other end is connected to a "door" which will close shut when the vacuum sucks hard enough, presumably at high rpms, is this thing strangling what little power i have on my bike or is it an important part to do with getting the right mix of air and fuel, Any help appreciated, Thanks...
  15. thanks anyway all, taken it in now, see what comes up, hopefully all will be ok :S
  16. o cheers for you post mate, but its not that the whole saft that goes through into the gearbox had free play, not just the bit which locks onto the spilines think its inside the box
  17. do u recon that would be the cause even though if u push it into the engine it works, maybe the elector on the end of the shaft in the box has slid along a little??
  18. haha yea i know i know just frustrating, really dont wanna blow my bike up, but i need it for work and stuff and beeing a poor baker i cant afford that haha
