Just bought a new pair of Spada Force IIs. Theyre nice, but theyre so stiff they make my thumb ache and throttle control is a nightmare. How do i thin them out and soften them up quickly?

That much more so than the £60 RST or something down at the local dealership. I have some people in one ear saying YES, you must get a good helmet NOW! Then others saying, well, unless your actually hardcore riding, the difference is minimal. Im confused....help please!
