  1. Yeah that sound tangable mate, cheers.
  2. Well we went on to take of the carbs and give em a clean, cleaned the fuel tap out. Still the same,
  3. We just removed a piece of sponge from what looks like a cheap Japanese in line screw together fuel filter and it is still spluttering put takes of after 6k now... We are thinking maybe the sponge has broken done a bit and and some sponge is getting through to the carbs... He has just gone up the duel carriage way to give it a thrash and see if it clears it..... Next step is maybe have the carbs off, take the bowls off and have a look... Is brake cleaner ok to blast through the jets?
  4. Hey all, a pal bought a 2003 cb500 that's done 40 miles in the last 3 years. In neutral it revs freely to 10k but while moving it coughs and splitters refusing to review past 5-6k? We've checked the carb rubbers, vac and fuel lines, cleaned all the electrical components connections we could find.... It's a bit above us I think, any ideas?
  5. How do you make a sausage roll? Push it.
  6. Lol it's quite loud with the twin 38mm outlets tbf, see the video here near the end thanks. https://youtu.be/ilYubB6dMQg
  7. Google says the reca cafe is permanently closed? Is this the case?
  8. What you call a man with a penis for a nose? F*ck knows
  9. What you call a woman with no legs? Dirty c*nt.
  10. What have a square battery and woman's bum hole got in common? Eventually your gonna lick it:-)
  11. Lol, not really. I tend to get a bit obsessed with my hobbies. Shed built isn't too expensive, it's just the parts and time.
  12. I think Lorenzo will be a weapon on that Suzuki, some people just can't ride a Ducati... Look at Rossi, Lorenzo is doing a better job than him.. Dare I say it Lorenzo on pedrosa's honda, not if marques has anything to do with it but in reality besides all the stick he gets he is the only current rider to have beaten marques to a championship. Can honda risk him on another good ride? I'd like to see miller get his Ducati too, someone with the mindset to ride one, he could become the new stoner. We need our adopted cousins on good bikes.. crutchlow on the factory honda would be nice but everyone wishes he could go several races without throwing it down the road. I just wish we had more riders to take it to marques and add some excitement, Texas was soo dreary to sit and watch.
  13. Sounds like a great trip, thanks for sharing.
  14. Yeah, love sweat and tears:-) Need to fibre glass the undertray and paint it, most of it is done then. Could always add a hugger... Undertray... Performance mods... List goes on I guess lol.
  15. Thanks guys, I almost went clip ons and after market zorsts but the stock pipes just suit it I think, looks meaner and more retro muscle imo. I think the clip ons with destroy the comfort. Probably do custom headlight and kolo Speedo next winter tho... Maybe wavey discs too:-)

  18. Hi everyone, I'm new. Here is my current iron steed. I've had her a year and taken her from stock to here. My mechanic done the valve clearance and swing arm bearings plus got the rocker powder coated, new tyres. I've since; Cut the frame and fitted oem 2015 cafe racer seat. Fitted adjustable ohlines shocks. Fzr 1000 exup Ru forks yokes and new bearings. Fzr600 fender. Shiney engine covers Rental super lows and brace Gold spot R1 brakes and braided lines. Stainless used collector. 38mm exhaust mod, very very loud lol. Custom rear light with integrated indicators. Blacked headlight and clock bowls. Black levers. Full service. She handles so much better now but is still a big girl, like stopping a freight train but so much torque it's still fun. Comfey with it:-)
