Hey up. Had to wheel an empty scooter to shell petrol station 2 miles away from work (absolutely knackard) and filled up. Got about 6 miles and im empty. Jumped off the bike as it was running and saw a long line of fuel just seems to be dumped from the scooter. Now the fuel seems to be dripping from a line about the exhaust. Fkn joyful at 10 past 1 in the morning.

thanks for the reply tango. I think I will have to wait til weekend to see if i can open it up. I have no mechanical knowledge though, anything in particular I should be looking for? there are no drips of fuel when the bike stands.

Hey all, I have a problem with my trusty liberty 125, 2004 model. I topped it up with what i thought was full tank, cost £5.18 for close to 4 litres, (i believe the liberty has a 6 litre tank) and i ride from work to home usually full throttle . Riding into work today and every time I stopped at the lights i got a huge whiff of petrol (this is whilst infront of any cars, before anyone says yeh mate its the car exhaust in front). There has been no leaks I can see where my scooter has been stood all last night, and I checked for any leaks before whilst at work but none. That said i rode 8.6 miles one way and now i am at work with my fuel light on and a empty tank. I am not sure if some how the petrol is leaking and that is what i smell, or if i am absolutely ragging it that i killed 4 litres of fuel in 17 miles. anybody with any advice most appreciated

Hahahaha im sorry but I couldnt help laughing. It seems this is your only post and unless you are an old user who has changed their name it is abit random to not introduce yourself and ask if anybody wants to ride out with you. Reminds me of wolf creek or wrong turn type films lol. Good luck though

Hey all, does anyone know of a good cheap waterproof backback type bag that would fit my laptop and uniform for work when i commute on my scooter. At the moment I am using my uni messenger bag for my laptop but its really nice and i dont wish to use it for commuting, and a tesco carrier bag for my uniform. The backpacks i have seen from places like GO OUTDOORS etc are all in the £50ish region, im looking to spend less than that, preferably £20ish cheers

My mother was (is) dead against me having a motorbike in the UK which was weird because when holidaying in Pakistan I have had full use of a motorbike since I was 13 and without any sort of safety gear, so at 17 i just got my drivers licence. then in 2009 I realised I still had the bike bug. So I told my family I was going to do the DAS. I paid for it, used the biking schools gs500, after a year of passing i finally bought my piaggio scooter liberty 125. As said before I did get a slap upside the head, but i think the scooter was easier to break than the r1 or gsxr 1000 i was going to go for. Iv had the scooter 2 years now no problems touch wood. even got my brother into biking and my younger brother and cousin once they hit 17. Moral of the story patience is the way forward. Your mother isnt saying no to a bike to spite you, she is just scared because as parents they are wired to see the danger in any scenario break her into it gently and she should be cool. Keep up with it though you'll get there in the end

il give u a bleedin' hazard :@
Bika_boy replied to Bika_boy's topic in CBT, Test and Advanced Training Information
hahaha updated i passed my theory yesterday, took all ur tips in to account about LISTENING to what they want, see i thought i just click once or twice depending on where i see a hazard, coz theres only 1 hazard in the clips apart from 1 which has 2. anyway the practice clip said dont be afraid to click a few times, just dont get over excited. so i did . passed them both hahaha im well buzzin. next stop DAS. i saw a bike school in bolton doing it for 200 quid, for 2 days. where as in manchester (where i live) theyr starting around 400. anyone got any advice?? obviousy if i chose bolton i would have to include fuel price in getting their and back n i reckon itl take me 3 days. -
aaaaggghhh God i hate hazard perception. I hav been doing the mock tests and they are the beeeepest beeep beep on the beepin' planet. The camera thing used 2 film the clips is rubish, wher i see a hazard apperently isnt a hazard, and where it isnt, what do u kno...? 0 score for not seeing it. I could kill the mofo who introduced that crap
