I'm doing some paint work on the tank so all the lacuer is rubbed off this is how I spotted the oil spots on the tank .as they was shiny . I'll give the bike a clean sort out the oil then keep a watch on it . How often do you change the oil on a bike as its an old engine 70k but runs like a dream ..

Yes it's at the front the engine ... hmmmm I don't think it's that as the oil on the tank was not at the from the tankits was on the side by the tank badges .. I always check the oil when cold before I go out .. So if it's more oil when hot .as I keep.it on max I might have too much in there .. ok . As I said I'll keep it between max and min from now on and see how it.looks ..

Just had a look 50p in 1976 in today money £3.50. Wow no wonder they didn't pay it .. .

I remember 76 .. and the snow storm that hit that winter . I used to live on a council eat on the side an top of mountin when the snow came it blocked the est off from the town 30ft snow drifts around our house as we live at.the end of a street. The only 4x4 I ever saw was the top shops owner who wanted to charge 50p for a loaf of bread. No one bought any ..they rather walk 12 miles then pay 50p .. I guess 50p was a.lot back in 76.

Ask them for what proof they have on the offence .. If they are just asking you who owned the car before you help them ... Get the form off asap to get the log book .. Slap the mother in law ..(you won't regret it) What is.the date of this offence if any . Don't bother calling the safety camera ones as they only take payments you cant appeal to them . If no other info go in to cop shop and.ask them to help .as if you show your trying to sort this out it will go in your favour .. Any stuff from the police don't ignore it as it.will come back and bite you ass. Slap the mother in law again . Where in Wales did you go find the route and the info from the photo will say excaley where it was check if you went this way if you didn't tell the cops in person show them and they will help you ..as if they got some one who's cloned your car .. is more then a speeding ticket. As its no tax no insurance.. no mot .. and poss no licence . So they will want them off the road . As I had the very same thing . Some one using my car reg . I even went to court . And got compo off the judge .£50 as in had went in to the cop shop and helped them as they logged my info in to there system it all helped ..

The silver escort size van driver who thought It would be funny to cross the white line as I was filtering towards him I had to slam on the brakes to stop me and the wife hitting him head on the lorry drive seen what he was doing ( the lorry driver in front ) so I had the nob playing chicken with me a lorry horn going off my wife head butting me in the back the head while trying to stop inside my side of the white line next to this lorry .then he moves over last minute to pass me . If I'd be on my own I'd have hit him head on or followed him and hit him . There was loads of room to filter down the road yet.he thought it be funny why would you think it be funny to drive head on with a motorbike ????? I just wish my head cam was working I'd had him reported to the cops .. so if just.ordered a new dash cam front and back Camera for my bike ..

After my ride to day I parked my bike in the garage .As I was getting the bits off the bike I noticed that there was some small droplets of oil on the tank . (I'm doing some respray work on the bike so the tank don't have any lacquer on it ) so the wee spots was shiny looking . Then i spotter the front of the engine was covered in a very fine layer of oil and the fins on the side again thing spray of oil . So I wiped it all off and the rag is black with oil .so I checked the oil level and its still at max .every time I go out on my bike I check the oil or top it up . In the last 2 months of the hot weather i just topped it up with drops of oil very little top ups . It's a Honda cb750 P reg. I said to my bro in law and he said I need to strip the engine down and 're do all the gaskets .. So is he right is there anything I can do apart from a full srtip down ... as indont have the skills to do it . I think My bro in.law does ( says he can do it ) but i dont want him to doing in case some thing goes wrong .. as i dont want a bag of engine parts

Self loving dumb BMW driver on the A468 traffic jam down hill last night who I was in my Car with the family when I almost ran in to the back of this twot ....as his car got very close to the front of my car .when i thought I was at fault as I didn't see his brake lights come on . Only after the 2an time I got close HE DONT HAVE ANY BRAKE LIGHTS .then the one in the back window (LED type) 6 or 7 red dots .well half them was NOT working . We then came to pass him as it now was 2 lanes sees he got 2 young kids in the back (both between 4 .7 .) My wife shouted to him (his window was open ) you don't have any brake lights ...... he looks at us and says ....one in the middle works now f**k off ...puts his foot down an off he goes .......wife was gob smacked I went nuts at the way he spoken to her . I wanted to knock his lights out . So we called the cops (101 service 20 mins later )told them as if any one runs in to the back him its there fault unless they got dash cam .

Well it won't move as its no chicken Anyway the cat.will look at you and its mind.will tell.you to go round me and.gwt.my din dins before you go lol

Hi no smell . Just.hot not boiling.hot.but hot. I changed the brake fluid . Looked like cloudy piss. So nice yellow in there.now.. works.all good.. cheers

Thanks every one . I'll change the fluid tommorw .. it's only when I'm with him I ride like that as its to keep up with him. On my own I take my time and it better . Got to honest chasing him takes the fun out of the ride . If take too long he winges and moans . !! I was up there last week and I did it an hour faster !! Well I'm going to stop as if I feck up its me whos going to get hurt or some one else or the bike going to get bust . I changed them . I used brake cleaner to.clean it.as the old pads was ECB touring pads and.they worn down fast . Then i put copper grease on the back of the pads and a bit on the caliper as it was almost all the way out greased it and.pushed it.back in put the pads in . The pads done over 100 miles more i think...before today ..and two up as.well for 99%time one up to.day.

Hi thanks bits of info there... the pads are ECB gold .shintered type .for sports bikes (hard braking) . The back caliper is working fine as it was me using my foot and leaning back so I could see the caliper move to see if it was sticking . It worked perfect .it was me checking the caliper then that I felt it was so hot . My foot when on the foot rest is about inch above the brake pedel so i have to push my foot down to stop so it not binding or riding with my foot on it . I have to speed up to catch my bro in law on the str8s as he zooms round the bends i cant go as fast as him round the bends as i go wide some Times (almost every time there a ruddy car or bus coming the opposite way ) so I don't go round the bends as.fast but to.day I did as I approached the bend slowed down a bit fast then as I went round the bend I opened the throtel which helped me go a bit quicker . But again he's gone so again hard on the gas then fast braking so it was me using the brake.that made it hot there no.fault with the bike ..(just.the rider lol) So I need to change the fluid . It's the only thing i didn't do after I bought it (2 years now ) So I guess it due a brake fluid change . Once I put the cold water on it (it didn't hisss or make any sound as it was boiling hot it was just to hot to hold long ) It worked perfect then as we was on the way home and it was M4 hardly touched the brakes then when I did they was 100%.

Hi am . As you see its been a very hot day today .. so me and my bro in law went for a fast blast on the bikes . .I'm on CB750 he's on a FJR1300 and like to go fast .so we goes up to the Brecon beacons and he said he's found a new road to ride so we been on the road good 2hrs . And we came to the last section he said got a lot of twists and turns ..... So off we go I'm doing my best to keep up with him . Then about the last few miles I'm going.round this hair pin bend goes to.slow down ready to accelerate out in to the bend and NO BACK BRAKE so knocks it down a gear and use more front brake then feel a.small amount of.back brake . So I pulls in stops (using the front brake) has a potch around can't see anything by this time he's come back !!!what's up !!! Got no back brake .. then I feel the brake caliper its MAD HOT .. so jumps on the bike down to the next garage air/ water ... runs the cold water on the caliper and the brake pipes disk all over the braking .... after 5mins off we go and it as good as new there's brand new pads in there less than 200 miles. Then we head home its most M4 but the back brake worked all right all way home . So i. Asking is that normal ?????? Is the brake fluid need changing As I was using the brakes a lot to keep up with him an round the bends .. So any info will be fantastic.. Iain ..

I was up there Sunday (not on the bike dam I wish I was tho ) and I had to do a bit.around that area and wow the roads was bloody fantastic .. unlike Wales full bloody potholes you lose you bike in ..have to go up on the bike one day

Hi got the Castro oil 10x40. Same stuff as No put in my Cb750. So I thought go for it change the oil in my bike same time . So goes to find out what oil filter I need for hers .............. it don't have one .if looked all over the engine . Ok it don't have one .right the drain hole .................. it don't have one ... WTF .. so cleaned all the crap off the outside bottom of the engine find what looks like a drain hole and its an Alan key plug. So just done my bike and later I'm off to thunder road bikes and ask them what they think .

I had that problem with my bike and I got a m8 who used to suicide jockey in London (despatch rider ) and he said to me start the bike let it tick over and turn off the petrol let it run dry . The once its dies . Wait a minute then turn petrol back on start the bike . Did this and its never done it since runs like a dream. . That if you can do this on your bike ..

I was I there to day asking about some thing like this from there electrical section .I never thought looking at the audio section . Owell another trip tomorrow lol .
