Just spoke to the fundraising lady at the hospice and said what the plans are.. she wants to get the local paper there to go to willy woods to take a pic so I said 12.45/1 ish onwards for that and she also wants lincs echo to come to mine to take a pic for those who are able to come to mine etc and asked what sort of time that would be, I said i didnt know but would ask you peeps for ideas It is about 12/15 miles from woods to mine and bear in mind that with a car in your midst (with me driving lol) you wont get there as soon as you may without me PMSL Am sending her a statement (ooo thats formal lol) from Vicki. ALl good stuff as vicki said... positive for the forum, hospice and bikers in general. They at the hospice like me are so pleased and grateful for this!! Apparently first sunday in august they are doing a ride out from willy woods for the hospice to cleethorpes.. and gonna be about 400 bikes for that!! they were keeping it a secret from me cos they're hoping to get mikey involved with it to meet some racing chappy (sorry, cant remember name) but thought had better tell me as they'll be bringing some leaflets about it to give to anyone who is interested to join in. Hope this is making sense!?!

We went and had a fab day... Mikey now zonked!! But he really loved his day. Made my bro come and meet us for a couple of hours armed with camera..got some pics. Met up with Tracey (tinkerbell) so that was lovely as per usual Mikey charmed the socks off her Hope you got back OK Tracey and didnt get lost in Lincoln... darn't try and give you directions after we couldnt explain the way to McD's too well lol but great to meet you and cant wait till two weeks time. Will pm you the pics of you, I and Mikey when uploaded. All in all happy, tired and a lil sunburnt lol

No probs. Car seat: I don't have a spare but I know someone who will my sis in law is a childminder and seems to collect car seats and buggies like chocolate teapots! So no prob with that, and yes is saturday we be going

train to lincoln or newark and could come with us? Would say I'd go to nottingham station but dont like driving in the city too much

Vikki, i will speak to hospice later, they have seperate fundraising dept to the people we see so I will speak to them and then get a direct number for them so you can talk to them about the forum etc if thats OK?... will let you know whats said Also, my other half should be over from scouse land that weekend and he doesnt have his DD that weekend so I dont know if he will come over on his bike or not.. guess depends on he weather on the friday night etc so you should meet him too. edited to add steve...great minds think alike

ok i'll try again...seems he had "wriggled" and was oxygenating his lughole so guess that was a bit uncomfortable lol resettled now... anyway, you wouldnt believe how excited i am about this...never mind lil man!! Just so you know, due to his learning diffs there is no way of even hinting at what is going to happen so really will be a huge suprise to him.. really cant put into words how much this has touched me from the moment you first suggested it to now...overwhelmed is an understatement! I had the family support worker here from the hospice today and we talked more about it, they too are so grateful. I did pm susique about the rally and mentioned about publicity for the forum because of this, i know you are all doing it for my lil man but any publicity for the forum is good and i know the hospice are big on getting places/people recognised for how they help them.. dont know what all your feelings are on this, whether you want a local rag to come and take a piccy or whatever they do. Im OK with it because the stars are Mikey and you guys. I'll pm you my number Jo and happy to pm to anyone else who wants it, let me know. Willy woods is bikers heaven..lots of bikers and toilets and bacon butties and a lil dude who will be there with a big grin. I will make sure we there nice and early cos you'll know us...wheelchairs have their assets as in easier to recognise first before the person.. but am sure you'll spot mikeys smile a mile off anyway. There is a bit where lots of bikes park and the other bit for cars...i will park in the car bit so bikers who dont know what's going on dont tell me off n then I'll come over to where you'll see us... you'll have to approach us though as i'll look like a right weirdo (well prob do anyway pmsl) asking random bikers if from the TMBF lol lots i want to say... but i'll shut up for now.
