  1. Beetle and VW camper owners do a big " VW " that I think involves both hands , bloody dangerous . This made me chuckle... alot!
  2. I wear short biker boots bit never really felt vulnrable. I have never thought about wearing a back protector... do lots of people wear them or is it more of a head down feet back brakeneck speed sports bike thing? Kinda nakes me think i should be wearing one even though im not a fast rider
  3. Just out of intrest, how often do you wear full bike protection? I personally dont care if im going 1 minute down the road or 1 hour down the road i always wear my bike trousers (materials) jacket, boots, gloves, lid (for obvsious reasons). My question is... How often do you wear full gear? And do those who dont, are you not scared or worried about seriously injuring yourself?

    The Mongrol Rally!!

Hey, The first one your refdering to is the one im on about they accept cars and bikes cars have to to be a 1litre or less. They will accept 1.2 but you need a good reason . They also accept bikes under 125cc but ideally they want you to donit on a scooter. Inread a story online about a couple of lads doing it on monkey bikes Ill check out that garbage run sounds like a right laugh Thanks!
  5. Has anyone here ever completed the Mongrol Rally by the Adventureists on a bike. Onvsiouly its has to be 125cc or lower. What was your experience? How much did you end up spending? Me and a couple of mates are wanting to do it
  6. I still got my other bike (Yamaha TDM850). The XTX is newer, less miles, smoother ride, better gear changes and more nimble but the TDM is a better distence bike. But id i had to choose to ride tge tdm roubd the world or the XTX i would deffo choose the XTX puts a big smile on my face every time i start it up
  7. Its a 660cc. I love it so much!
  8. Ill get better photos during the day rather then these advertisment ones
  9. Leo vince exhausts and k&n air filter etc... love it!!!!
  10. The hoses were right in the way of were i needed to connect my hand guards so had to move them out the way a bit. My dad is going to help me bleed them tonight. But the bleed nipple does look lik its not going to budge
  11. Fitted my hand guards. But accidentley (i say that loosley) undone a bolt holding on my brake hoses to my fluid container. And have no pressure in my front brake lever. So im guessing i have to now bleed my front brake? I have to front calipers so do i bleed one at a time? Also the bleed nipples look pretty old and knackered, so im going to WD40 it up and hope it doesnt snap off . Just gotta pinch the 8ml ratchet fron work. Also on my throttle its tight against the hand guard so its not twisting back to idle. So going to space it out with a few washers, will this sort the issue) Cheers, a rather un-mechanically minded wannabe
  12. So far the satnav seems great, havnt given it a proper road test yet but its got a nice weight and solid feel to it. It has LOADS of pre set biker hotels/campsites the lot all logged into it. I like the windey and hilly buttons keeps you off the boring motorway unlike maps on your phone. I wouldnt trust my phone to get me acroos europe and also i dont fancy paying an arm and a leg for data use abroad
  13. Looks fantasic!! Will deffo be taking a trip there!!

  16. The new Rider 550 has a quad core processer in it so should be nice and lively. Also you connect the 550 to wifi to update it so its much eaiser and can be done almost anywhere (with wifi )
  17. Not sure what pack that is. Bit i can get it locally from infinity motorcycles its the premium pack and it comes with the zip up carry case for the nav, the ram mount to fix it to the bike the hard wire to charge it on the bike, (im not sure if my 12v plug in charger works) and unlimted map updates free of charge for the life time of your system

Pretty sure you can put sd cards in them now for memory. Also update it over wifi no pc needed. You can hotspot it to your ohone and have life traffic and speed cameras. The list just goes on. Looks naughty!
