  1. Balancing. Also check everything is tight. I was going to say reject tire but that would show up on balancing
  2. Also colder intake temparature increases power.......here we go. Not looking at this thread anymore. More cc = more power, unless...
  3. This thread could get messy Don't forget compression ratio
  4. You said the answer..more fuel and air...bigger bang = more power
  5. Keep at it. Years ago my mate got a 125 from dealer at 9am. I was trying to show him how to let the clutch out for hours on forecourt. Took me till 8pm before he was able to stagger home on it. He never was a knee scrapper but rode bikes for years after. those were the days lmao
  6. Spray with hose pipe That should wet it Once its all dried out, fit new cap and seal it all
  7. If it is getting oil and he adds it to fuel it will foul up and not start from cold. Check the plug. This tells if there is oil, fuel and ignition problem

    Flooded Engine

2 strokes are bad at starting full stop. Forget air filter. Leave it out. Get a new plug first. 2 strokes eat plugs. Right....with plug out, turn over bike for a few seconds on full throttle. Then hit carb at the bottom of float chamber with screw driver end (not tip) just in case float is sticking. Warm plug as before. Put in plug plus ht lead this time Make sure kill switch is on and ignition Dont start with starter, bump it off as fast as you can in second gear. Start with no throttle then full then none etc, doing this quickly. Does it start. If yes, did it start on small throttle or full? If it doesnt start. Take plug out, connect back to ht lead. Place the end of the plug on top of engine. Now turn everything on and turn it over. Is the spark strong and what colour is it. I don't know whats your bike is like, but its either intake or coil end. After this you need carb stripping and checking over by a good mate who will show you how its done. If you lived close I would do if for you
  9. If I didn't have kids and wife When I was a young biker we had nothing. No mobile and no internet. We just met up at local transport cafe and played space invaders. Had a cuppa then found out who could do the best flyby or wheely

    Flooded Engine

Doesnt sound like flooding. Clean your plug them warm it on oven flame. Put in bike and post back what happens.Once engine is warm it shouldn't flood as bike would burn fuel off, but run rich. Check air filter as well mate. Change plug if above doesn't help
  11. Sounds like fuel problem. Could be loads of things. Is it fine at low revs. If at high revs, its fuel. Check filters etc. Warm up, then run at high revs, hit kill switch, take plugs out and check mixture colour...thats the old way of doing it. Then there is electrical problem Havn,t got all day. Just check basics first, leads ets
  12. You should have sprayed it with WD and all would have been ok. The days when engines got wet all the time, we always took some WD 40 with us. HEAVY RAIN!! miss fire.stop spray, gloves on hot engine, fag then go
  13. Nice pics mate. Something wrong with the main road....there is no holes in it Sorry, I live in pot hole county.
  14. I have a Kawasaki ZZR 1400 with 500 miles on the clock. It thuds, I say THUDS into first gear. Sometimes its a normal clunk. Somtimes it rocks the bike, even when rolling forward. Its to ensure no miss gear , so I am told The gearbox wines until clutch is pulled in. Noisey gears when riding. I am told to just enjoy it and ride. I find it hard, when its my only new bike in 28 years of riding. Rubbish Jap Cra&
