Snap on are the best but are really expensive if your not using them day in day out.
Was told by the guy from caltec (they do all the calibrations for my work) that harlfords torque wrenches are really good and hardly ever need adjusting and are reliable. If I was buying for occasional use i would be straight down there. only £50 I think.

Got mine through the other day. Said it would take 2 weeks and it did. Get on to them.

Well Done Mate!
The feelings great. Just passed mine on tuesday still got a smile on my face.

Thats a valve stem oil seal, always best to change them if you have the valves out. you dont want it to start burning oil then doing the job all over again.

Get some cheap sockets like these with the reverse twist in them. There great for removing damaged bolts.

Hi there. Has anyone on here got a AGV tealth lid? Passed my theory test today so i'm going to treat myself to my first helmet. Went and tried it on etc.. Felt good and comfy(snug). I'm just wanting a second opinion on the qaulity of the helmet and what you think of them.

I did my CBT with Pegasus in Ayr (bit far away for you) they were great, answered any questions i had, very freindly and relaxed. none of this souting if you make any mistake and making you feel uncomfortable. I'm going to book my DAS in the next couple of weeks when i pass my theory. They were priced at about £570.

I know where your coming from. I thought it was a lot of checking at first but when your out on the road and its explained to you it all makes sense. If in doubt ask your instructor thats what you pay them for. Get your moneys worth!
When on my recent cbt was told to use mirrors and life saver when moving out. when moving back in a life saverwould be sufficient. if there is a short break in the parked cars stay out and hold your position.

Thanks for the advice.
Will head down to North harbour and have a look and chat with them. I suppose if I dont trust or feel comfortable i can just turn around and leave.
Cheers folks

I was looking to start getting some kit together and was going to start with a helmet. Where would be the best place to buy a helmet in central Scotland based on helpfulness, advise and price?
