    Torque Wrenches

Snap on are the best but are really expensive if your not using them day in day out. Was told by the guy from caltec (they do all the calibrations for my work) that harlfords torque wrenches are really good and hardly ever need adjusting and are reliable. If I was buying for occasional use i would be straight down there. only £50 I think.
  4. Got mine through the other day. Said it would take 2 weeks and it did. Get on to them.
  5. Well Done Mate! The feelings great. Just passed mine on tuesday still got a smile on my face.
  6. Thats a valve stem oil seal, always best to change them if you have the valves out. you dont want it to start burning oil then doing the job all over again.

    Drain Plug

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Twist-Socket-Set- ... 286.c0.m14 Get some cheap sockets like these with the reverse twist in them. There great for removing damaged bolts.

  9. Yep have tried It on, but In the dragon colour scheme. Seen this at knockhill today whilst at the bsb. the guy who had it said hes had it for a few years. http://www.seastarsuperbikes.co.uk/AGV/ST%20ANDREW.jpg

  11. tried the agv k4 on as this was the one i was set on and just found it too tightacross me 4head. tried an arai chaser on and that was like a glove but well outa ma price range. They do look the doggies and it does fit well just want some views on road noise etc
  12. Hi there. Has anyone on here got a AGV tealth lid? Passed my theory test today so i'm going to treat myself to my first helmet. Went and tried it on etc.. Felt good and comfy(snug). I'm just wanting a second opinion on the qaulity of the helmet and what you think of them.
  13. I did my CBT with Pegasus in Ayr (bit far away for you) they were great, answered any questions i had, very freindly and relaxed. none of this souting if you make any mistake and making you feel uncomfortable. I'm going to book my DAS in the next couple of weeks when i pass my theory. They were priced at about £570.
  14. I know where your coming from. I thought it was a lot of checking at first but when your out on the road and its explained to you it all makes sense. If in doubt ask your instructor thats what you pay them for. Get your moneys worth! When on my recent cbt was told to use mirrors and life saver when moving out. when moving back in a life saverwould be sufficient. if there is a short break in the parked cars stay out and hold your position.
