  1. I'm just shy of 6"1' but I have a 36' inside leg and I love my little yamaha ybr 125.

    I am 6'2 and used to have a yamaha mt125 which was fine; it's the 30 miles a day that concerns me - might get tiring.

    I suppose it depends on if that is each way or 15 miles out and 15 miles back.

  2. Me. For the fuel tank issue. That nearly caused me to stack it a few hundred metres from home. Feeling quite the idiot right now.

    New underwear?

    I need new under wear. That video makes my stomach do flips 😱

  3. The young lad who I saw riding with a red bike light hanging off the back of his scooter because his rear light wasn't working. Not only that but he'd duct taped his visor on and was clearly doing take away deliveries as he had one of those enormous insulated bags on his back. I only hope he's made it home safely. He's been reported to the police more for his safely than anything else.

  4. The prick who thought it would be highly amusing to fire fireworks out the passenger window of his car at myself and another motorcyclist when I was riding home. Its been reported to the police. Just wish I'd managed to get the reg plate before he zoomed off. Thankfully he missed us both.

  5. I wish I'd know more about apprenticeships and that they weren't just in plumbing and building etc. I think I could have gone further. I was never quite university material and not particularly confident in my own ability so never really tried, however I wish I'd got an apprenticeship.

  6. I had a PE kit that contained my daps and I must confess I only knew them as daps as when we lived in Basingstoke and I worked for monsoon l got very confused by a lady asking if we sold plimsoles and I showed her some white lace ups only to be told "no the black ones kids wear in PE". Why you'd buy daps in monsoon is beyond me but there we go.

  7. So riding in this morning I filtered a few times through traffic. I'm quite nervous with it so I'll often hold back rather than risk it but I've been noticing there seem to be 4 types of driver;

    The one that spots you and carries on in a predictable manner.

    The one that stops you and then tries to stop you filtering by moving over as much as they can towards the white line.

    The one that doesn't see you at all because they at too busy looking at their phone while in traffic.

    Finally the one that spots you and tries to give you so much room (normally when it isn't safe to filter) they nearly put themselves in the verge.

    There isn't really a point to this post it just amuses me watching the responses I get from other road users.

  8. I've got a large mirrored cabinet in bathroom and always a nightmare to clean as ends up with streaks all over it, got some TV / monitor cleaner which is really good and cleans without any streaks at all so tried that on the mirrors, worked perfectly :lol:

    Understand that some cleaners may be too abrasive or cause some kind of issue but think vast majority of it is marketing.

    I'm rubbish at the whole cleaning thing but I do know that white vinegar and a micro fibre cloth will clean mirrors, glass and chrome up a treat with no streaky bits.
