I have heard the first one is tomorrow night, Tuesday 13th April!!!!! about 6.30pm ish I think.

Only person here who prefers rights, dont know why but I feel more confident and can definatley lean the bike further on right bends I think its to do with the fact you do alot more of them, as obviously all roundabouts you lean to the right!!!!!

I have Alpinestar boots, I havent got anything to compare them to as there my first boots, they are quite pricey but really comfortable I have no complaints

Good at last a bit of reponse to riding in Leicester, I always see no end of bikes and most of them riding alone so there must be more people that want to get together for a ride out!!!! I am same as above very last minute at the minute but will be out alot more soon!!!

I am planning a trip to the Nurburgring in the summer, myself, a gixxer 1000 and a Z4 motorsport, in july or around then, has anyone been before? firstly how many days is best to go for, I live in the midlands and secondly is there any particular month that is best? The main point of the trip is a gentle ride there and back with maybe a day or two there, for a good blasting!!!! Is there any special insurance I require and anyone who has been where did you stay???

Well ive seen more CBR's around than gsxr's Seriously??? It may be that there isnt a honda garage in leicester and there is a suzuki / yamaha garage here. I have only seen one newish CBR since I have been riding (only passed mt test in September though ) every other bike in Leicester is a Gixxer!!!! Not that is a bad thing as the new Gixxer 1000's look sick!

I am biased as I have a RR8 CBR600RR, as for boring and common???????? you obviously havent ridden one, its as quick as either the other 2, GSXR's are the most common bikes at the meets I have been to so I would never have one, I have the blue and white RR8 and havent seen another on the road, if its your first bike the CBR is so easy to ride, jumped on it after doing my MOD 2, its so forgiving, never had any squeeky bum moments.... yet!!!!!!!

Anyone in or about Leicester fancy having a rideout anytime soon or is it still to cold for most of you lot still Just looking on the members site map there seems very few riders that live anywhere near Leicester most are in and around Derby Notts!!!! Still if there is anyone that fancies it, doesnt have to be huge distant just fancy getting out for a few hours, I have a CBR 600RR if anyone fancies it?????

Yeah I met him through my missus she does loads of NVQ's with the lads in there, Ian's alright hopefully he will sort me something, I was interested in a old shape R6 in there that he had at a good price but it went before I passed my test.

I have been in Arnolds Abbey Lane a few times, I know one of the lads in there Ian he is looking for a CBR for me.

No not really, only had time to nip in Arnolds, there aint really loads in there unless you want a GSXR.

This is a vote for the best 600 sports bike and I have added the Triumph in there as well.

I like the sporty riding position of the RR, I think the best advice has been just get down there and ride it, do dealers mind firstly a newbie going in there and riding bikes having only past there test 1 week and also do they get s**ty with you if you dont end up buying one????

Attempt number 6 will be the 1, then another 10 attempts at MOD 2 should have your licence for the new year. The nerves must be better now tho.
