I might let all the little shites out of my basement that kept knocking my door in silly ghost costumes last night .
I hope you stole the sweets?

Nice one, guys.......not a bad day in the end......
It was one of the days where your not sure how far your going to go and ended up being an epic (dry) afternoon

Nice work so far , your going to need at least one of these at some point to complete the badass look .
Actually watched one of his vids after the last thread. "How to change a tyre" oh dear lmao. Funny to watch

Looks better without that awful bikini fairing thing - those are cheap bolt-ons from ebay, much better with the dominators on
Not sure about the twin pods on the ram air ducts though. Is that to replace you're main filter element or just to stop debris going down?
I would have thought just two small pods would be quite restrictive to the fueling as you have 4 cylinders pulling air through just those 2 pods.
I'd probably go for some fine wire mesh which won't be too restrictive but stop flies and the odd rogue bird getting sucked into the airbox and keep the air filter element in the air box.
Just a thought though, looks a nice solid bike
The lights were crap from the start lol.
The pods are piped up as the ram air ducts, the bloke who started it as a streetfighter just left the open ports and no ducting so i had no ram air and the bike just bogged down under hard acceleration. The pods have sorted this, but im also not convinced. Im thinking they will change for scoops, im liking the mesh idea too though. Once my "needs to be done" list is complete ill revisit these.

Isn't there an Ichiban Moto youtube about ignition switch replacement? Baadass!
I'll have a look. Thanks
-
The main issue will be the configuration of the block connectors not matching and different manufactures using different wire colouring systems. If you are prepared to do a bit of cutting and soldering and you have access to the wiring schematics for both bikes then , yes . Anything is possible with some effort. If you just bung on any old 5 wire switch then I'd get in a good stock of fuses and make sure the fire extinguisher is near at hand . Good luck
Thanks for the comeback fastbob. I have no problem soldering. I'm going to look into it more but i will be moving it soon. I've jist wired in my new twin headlights tonight and I want to move it away from those. If i stop posting someone please call 999

Those filters are... interesting.
You might find replacing them with air rams and sticking a larger (or original) box under the tank gives you performance gains - especially at speed.
Haha, i know what you mean. The filters and pipework, were a quick, cheap, solution to having no ramair at all.
once the jobs that need doing are done, they may well change for air rams.
The bike does remind me of Madonna now for some reason?!

Thought id start a project post on my ZX6R.
I brought her as a (Badly) started streetfighter. I'll keep this post updated with pics and issues
If anyone has any information on these bikes or streetfighters in general feel free to share.
So far ive changed the front wheel bearings and steering head bearings.
Set up the suspension back to standard (the front forks had completely different settings) and the rear compression was set to hard as F***
Re-routed the ramair
New chain and sprokets (X ring)
New battleaxe rubber front and back
-
The bike came to me as an unfinished project. And not very well done I might add.
I've re routed the ram air after it was de-faired and jist left. Connected to the new pipework are 2 cone filters which fit on the holes left from the defairing.
She runs much better now. Especially under mid range throttle.
Carb balancing kit is my next purchase.
I'll keep you updated
