I am staying with my friend saturday nite which is in perham down, i can meet you at the thruxton/salisbury turn off with tidworth and the 303 if you like? ill wait in the car park where the butty wagon is (which is never open ) i dont mind which route we take ill let you decide, ill have at look at the map later on though and see which routes you were on about, id prefer to stay off the 303 dual carriageway its a bit boring

Are we staying on the 303 all the way down? I know the 303 but cant think of the route up to cheddar. Oh what time are we going for mate??

I am all up for saving myself some money Col do you want me to meet you in Chippenham then? I will take a twisty road from Didcot through to Swindon then quickly up on to the M4 for a bit then in to Chippenham. Unless anybody else has better ideas? Where is everyone comeing from by the way...... Perhaps once we know that there may be a better place to meet than Bath. Lets pray for some sun this weekend

i may go when were u all thinking of going??? may have to be in the car depending on the weather as if its chilly the carb icing on the bike scares the crap of me has nobody thought about booking hotels with travel lodge i think it is, book far enough in advance and you can get them for a tenner if there is one close. i see a night or 2 out in birmingham

i have posted in the weston thread some more info, can we keep the rides separate as i get confused very easily

G we are talking about going for a ride today arent we?? just thought i had best check!!! theres the a4 marlborough, hungerford, plenty of back roads up through to devizes, the odd few butty wagon along the way... right well im going to start getting ready looks like rain aswell

yes ive heard from topgirl i offered to bring her down on the back of the bike to the ride tomorrow but i havent heard from her and i did pm her late, if you hear from her she is welcome to hope on the back. im not sure about weston yet i need to check on dates with work, am on holiday at the moment but will pop in to work in the morning to see what the sketch is. i thake it you werent up for salisbury yourself then? we couldve combined it with a nosey up at thruxton as they have the touring cars on there this weekend

I could be up for a drink or something down in Salisbury but I dont know what there is actually in Salisbury but on the Amesbury side at Sarum airfield there is a butty wagon and on the other side on the road to Ringwood/Bournemouth you have a pub about a third of the way down or another butty wagon just outside Salisbury. Otherwise I cant think of anything else. Ill see wot work are doing and hopefully try and get down. Where is everyone travelling from??

I might be going and I fancy camping as I have been meaning to actually use my tent I have had for for 2 xmas's now If the weather is pants I may look at Thruxton instead.... Gixxer whereabouts did you get your tickets and have you booked for camping aswell? Sorry I am being lazy

this may seem a bit daft but having just done my front pads the other day I noticed that if the pads arent sitting in the right place they push against the pin and it wont budge. Might be nothing but maybe if they arent sat flush it might be putting extra pressure on the pins

You have Monday nights at Foxes Diner at Berinsfield just outside Oxford, Wednesday afternoon/nights (I think) at The Lion Inn, Avebury and there's Sundays at Tizwaz in Bournemouth, apparently its quite a big gathering. Can't think of anymore at the moment....
