I wasn't planning or been told that it was a small scale rally. We were still hoping for people to come from the north/south up to a suitable location. But to be honest i know im not going to top anything im only suggesting an idea which was mentioned by countless members. I am by no means the organizer, just thought i would suggest something. If it can't be done then so be it. A year it will be however it would be nice to see people.

Exactly 100% agree with what has been said. To be honest i think it will be a cracking idea to do another one. However its going to take everyone's opinions to generate it. I did ask about an existing event like the Hull bike show etc however people wanted it to be unique. Therefore we need to look into a camp site. If the organizers of the rally could step forward and help me/everyone that would be great otherwise its going to a plan that fails. To be honest i don't really want to be waiting another year for the 2012 rally especially not knowing where i will be or what i am doing (could be the same with others)!! Hopefully we can sort something.

Well im hoping that the weather over the next months will pick up so they say. As its very rare we get a completely poor summer. Ker- Im, not organizing it all by myself I need some help too, peoples opinions as this isn't the forum rally. Wales is a very good idea however people that are up the north. Danny-b etc might not like to drive down that far and vice versa. So will have to come to an agreement that southerns will have to travel along with northerners this time. Not just on there door step. Also like Ruthie pointing out not everyone likes camping. I hate it however if that is the only option then ill do it. So need to take in to account a location that accommodates people.

Sorry scanty but people from the south don't want to travel that far. That's a long long way up Yorkshire area seems about fair for majority of people. However its early days, would like as much input from everyone first. As primarily its got to be everyone that agrees on a location. Mods/Admins can we get this thread noticed a bit more?

Oo well its a start isn't it Sue? Hopefully everyone will chip in and the organizers will help for one final rally this year! Like i commented it is a big thing to ask for everyone almost 100 people to book time off work, spend there money etc and decide on a location. So don't get me wrong i don't expect it to be easy but something even a day out would be lovely!

Evening everyone, Well what can i say its a bit of a kick in the teeth especially to you guys who attended the rally and got wet but nevertheless had a really good time! Much to my disappointment of not coming. However i have just suggested in the chat box regarding a further rally this year as pretty much majority of the rally-goers have commented saying one is not enough. For the vast amount of people that couldn't turn up to this rally i would like to know if people would like to attend another one before the winter seasons kicks in. Yes i am asking a lot especially as its not cheap however myself and others are gutted we missed out on a great laugh and would love to do a meet up sometime within the next months. I understand if people cant come to a second rally within a year due to personal circumstances but i would greatly appreciate any thoughts to getting something else organised with the likelihood of good weather to come. Yeah. Bumble this is exactly what i was thinking. Was going to meet you however it still doesn't miss the point of riding in the rain for over 3 hours. It stills extremely dangerous. Will you still go if its raining bumble? Ben (i am really bummed im not going. If there was another solution to not riding in the rain i would come.)

Really want to come however the rain is going to kill me. After riding 2 weeks and been on a motorway for less than 10 miles i don't think i can physically last 187 miles in the rain (forecast-ed for friday and saturday). Will suck not being able to come but i have to think about my safety over anything. No i am not being a wimp regarding the rain. Waterproofs only last so long! That leads to you getting cold and sad and eventually you will crash! Simple fact. Have fun!

Well you only live up the road Jamie. So ok for you. However some of us have to travel 200miles in the rain is a different story

Im touch and go at the moment. I have been really up for the rally for a while now. But until the weather forecast comes up for the weekend im not saying/going anywhere. As if its raining there is no way im driving 187 miles. Far too dangerous for a new rider. So i could be a no. Will await weather on Wed's Regards Ben

Was at loomies today. My GOD the weather is lovely. Just got home as its soo hot and so many bikers are there we decided to leave. If anyone is planning on going up let me know. SV650 2007 in light metallic blue is me.

Im In Winchester so anyone looking to go to loomies etc we often go. Could meet you there etc. Maybe this weekend. Ben

Passed 0 minors and got told it was an excellent ride. Thank god! RALLY here i come. x

Passed first time, had lots of training that helped a lot. Walked in to hear "Benjamin two minor faults im sorry to say you have passed, Well done" to my relief and instructors Both me and another rider with a different instructor passed with 1/2 minors Now MOD 2 on Friday. x

Great news mate. I was of to my MOD 1 today, only to get 3/4 of the way there and find out my instructor which thankfully i didn't pay had cancelled it without telling me. Nice that, so i promptly said ill go with another company and moved my test to Monday and the 17th. Grats

Truly amazing this bike, since i looked at the KTM trailers it looks amazing. It would be the only 125 4T i would ever buy. However back when i got my Husqvarna 125 SM 2t it wasn't out back then so a bit bummed. The 15bhp seems Ok but not heard one in real life so no idea what they are like but my god do they look appealing. Good luck fella.

Hi Susie, I posted not long ago stating that if i pass on the 7th and get my (bike on the 5th of June) hopefully i will be a definite. So at the moment i know i am defiantly coming however i cant say yes without passing my test on the 7th. If i don't pass which god help me i do then i will re book it way before the 17th of July and should be good to go for it. So although its confusing, i am coming just waiting on test now as the bike i could get whenever i wanted. Ben x

Yeah John is driving up with Mrs Jix. I was hoping to ride with him as well but i think ill be following then possibly putting bike on trailer on way home. Still to be confirmed, but he did offer to take my stuff So if anyone else is riding up from Hampshire area up north then i am sure we could meet up somewhere along the line. Ben
