  1. having a look at my sisters boyfriends old honda CG125 1993 i think i will get that confirmed. i will be using it for long stints from glocuester to aberiswithe in wales every other week also to and from work

It needs a new back tire and a new pair of forks. im also gnna get it serviced before officially buying it. what you guys think?

  2. Im currently using some really cheap 2 quid a bottle oil for my bike. only problem is after a long ride my throttle cable slips abit and i lose power. its not hard to regain power by letting go of the throttle and then twisting it back again. but i would like to know if theres anything i can do. a mate said try some castrol synthetic oil or something. but if i remember right too much of the stuff can start to do damage.

  3. im gnna be an ass and say i hate these bikes. a mate had one and it was a total load of crap they have alot of expensive problems. my best advice would be take it to a shop. my mate had a piston blow becuase the starting motor was nackered it doesnt make sense to me but woolfy is generally a good mechanic so i trust him :) mind you thats 50. your throttle cable could just be damaged.

  4. it cleans alot of crap out the engine and will help your tank hold a bigger amount. the amount of crap that collects in the bottom of a tank i believe disolves in the solution in redex and comes out the back of the bike in a pretty grey "health" smoke :) the stuff will do wanders for any bike in my opinion. even brand new bikes and this stuff will help in the long run

  5. i like my jacket to be smaller in length becuase i find when they get tight around hips its irritating. i like myne tight about my hips becuase it also serves and my #1 carrying place.

trousers i reccomend tightish but not so tight your legs cant breath. dont wear apple bottom jeans, ive had a few occasions on my 125 where my trouser leg has gone through my front sprocket and almost pulled me off :(

gloves. i reccomend summer gloves and buy a set of winter undergloves. its abit more expensive but makes a huge diffrence when changing seasons without melting. helmet should be tight to the point where if you grip the chin gaurd and shake it your head moves with the helmet 100% although dont do it so tight it hurts.

if your wearing a one peice undersuit make sure its nice and tight. you will look like a latex cycler so get into kit quickly.

Boots. make sure your boots fit properly. having boots where theres "room to grow into" is not a smart plan in my opinion becuase you cant account for the spacial awareness between your toes and the floor in aggresive positions :)

some of this is total bullshit to some people its all personall opinion

  6. ok after having a bike with only 2000 miles on the clock stolen im getting a new kinda bike, a hairdryer with wheels to be precise. but still im nervous about having it stolen and i dont wanna claim on insurance so im going all out. i have places to anchor my bike at work and at college but not at home, so i was thinking on getting

Attached to our pattio i know for a moped it might seem OTT but after having one bike robbed im a little nervous, does anyone have any experience with Oxford ground anchors and are they reliable?

Also for 15 quid i cant really go wrong aslong as it works :)

  7. it was attacked to a sorta bracket thingy on my shed. its hard to explain. but no. it was ripped off the shed and has gone with the bike :(. im looking at 125's now :'( just more fcuking money really isnt it? im looking for a decent 125 thats gnna last me a few years. im planning to get a new bike when i manage to get a job as a full time fire fighter.
