  1. I have the above bike but cant get it started, the plugs are dry so i unscrewed the carb bowls drain screw and noticed there's no fuel in them. I then removed the vacuum hose from the petcock to the left carb and sucked on the vacuum hose fuel on the left carb immediately began to pour out of the left drain screw hole but hardly anything on the other side. The bike has in an line glass sight type fuel filter which is about half full, I should add that the carbs have recently been rebuilt so no chance of the floats sticking and I've gently tapped the bowls with a rubber mallet to see if I could dislodge anything if they were stuck. But why is the fuel no running freely into the second carb??
  2. Long time ago I know! Did you ever figure this out? Was it a duff starter relay? Having the same issue.
  3. Recently put my engine back in the frame, and can't for the life of me understand why it won't turn over from the starter switch. When bridging the starter relay it turns over just fine but won't from the starter button so I presume the problem is up stream from the starter relay. Everything else works electrically fine lights horn dial etc. The single wire to the engine ground case is fine and not dirty, so if it was up stream of the starter relay what could the problem be? A relay or the starter switch itself? I've had this apart as well and it looks fine. Would a bad clutch switch or a side stand switch cause this fault? and if so how could I test for this. (the light for the side stand switch comes on and off when raised or lowered.
