  1. Hint dropped on eurosport commentary today
  2. Think everyone thought that JT would end up in the WSBK Yamaha team. I had thought Camier might get the nod in that direction, but the offer of the Aprilia ride is interesting. maybe that's were he is heading, and a good ride if he gets the same deal has Biaggi. The rumour is that Sykes is heading back to Suzuki. What's the thoughts on Vermulen. Ten Kate? or maybe GP2
  3. Don't bother with powerslide its down too. This one good for a read http://www.bikesportnews.com/
  4. If thats a good one would hate to see a bad one!! Sorry I put up the wrong link It should be http://www.powerslide.net ...give us a break I'm working nights at the moment
  5. Wow can you adopt me please. Top dad or what! Better take the plastic though for all the Vale merchandise your going to have to buy lol
  6. Hey up Evs If you want to find info join some of the dedicated racing forums. Loads of them about. A good one is http://motogpboards.com A lot of news comes quick on crash.net, but if you want the latest on the riders your best looking at their own websites. There are other ways but that's secret lol
  7. I sometimes wonder if Colin is running a higher spec bike than JT. It is common knoledge that Yamaha pays his wages. He's also acknowledged as one of the best development riders there is. Even Rossi argued to keep him at Fiat for this, only appeased by his move to Tech 3. So I think there is more to his contract than just a ride. Colin is still the leading non factory rider, so perhaps he does deserve a better ride, there are a few factory riders lagging behind him.
  8. Yeah shame Colin never got the chance when he was younger. I think he would have stood a good chance of a title. Even in the factory teams there are levels of difference. Pedrosa has been running a new Spec bike for the last 2 races, and the reason Lorenzo stayed with Yamaha was he was promised the same package as Vale. Really if you don't have a factory bike you can only hope for rain
  9. Yep will be there shouting Guy on..BMF on the Saturday though, so won't make practice. Anyone not been. Get yourself there best road racing going. ">
  10. Rumour is Colin has been offered a contract with Tech 3 and signed. Only a rumour though. Not good for JT though, but only right looking at results
  11. The Tech 3 bikes are 4 development stages behind the Fiat Yamaha bikes.
  12. I was wondering that myself. You have to belive that he has been offered a really good package to keep him loyal. It is possible that he will get a full spec Yamaha with more factory support, there is after all no rule regarding that. I personally think Rossi will try and get the 10 titles, and then call it a day. We all know Rossi likes is numbers and records. If he goes till 2012 that should give him Ago's record and wrap it all up nice. Then he can concentrate on mentoring is little brother who will be of age by then, which according to his brother in a recent interview is his intention. Don't you wish you were Luca Marini lol. 2 clips of a future world champion. Amazing how is style is so similar to Vale "> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l6mNM7Gi ... re=related
  13. JT might have been given a life line to remain in Moto GP for next year with today's news. http://www.crash.net/motogp/news/151869 ... _2011.html Also Hayden has re-signed for another year with Ducati. It is also reported in MCN that Pedrosa is in talks with Ducati. This was before Hayden re-signed so it is not known if they still are. If so were does this leave Stoner.....interesting times! More news and not really unexpected karl Harris has been fired from Hydrex Honda. Shame because I think Karl is one hell of a rider when is mind is in the right place. He just doesn't seem to suit the superbike though. hopefully he will get back on the supersport and kick ass again. Rumour is that Tommy Hill will take his ride for the remainder of the season. Then again Rutter may ...he has been everywhere else this season
  14. Just because your on the podium doesn't mean you deserve a GP ride. Its funny how DeAngelis and Elias both can manage podiums when they are looking for a ride for next year. If I was ateam manager I would question if these guys are going to try. The one guy I would want is Randy De Puniet. Now that guy does try, but a tad expensive in carbon fibre As for Toseland I think he will stay. Edwards has good has confirmed there would not be room for 2 Americans in Tech 3, and Colin was looking to step down last year. yamaha are going to want to hold on to Spies, and a future Lorenzo/Spies team does look good. If JT does lose the ride I think he will be back at Ten Kate. They respect his development input there, and the performence they have had sinc JT left has been a bit poor. In fact JT and Vermulen back there would be a dam fine team.
  15. The reason both Pedrosa and Rossi crashed was that they strayed off the racing line, and onto the dirty part of the track. The Indy track is only used for the GP and was not touched since last years. In fact ony 5 days before they organised a track day to try and get some rubber laid down. In my opinion this is not acceptable, and hopefully Dorna will have something to say...doubt it though! Next year I think we will see more domination by Lorenzo. All things come to an end, and has much has I love Rossi, is era is coming to an end. I just hope he goes out on a high, and does not try to drag it on chasing one more title. He doesn't have to prove that. The key to the whole thing is JB. For a while now he has being after retiring, and promised Rossi he would stay until the end of 2010. rossi freely admits he would not have so many titles where it not for JB. Remember Rossi has a few world titles, but compareed to JB as crew chief, he has a bit of catching up to do lol. So I think next season will be the end of the Rossi era and the start of the Lorenzo circus tour...bring it on Anyone not seen it. This is a great clip of JB. ">
  16. Yep a man who knows feck all about bike racing!
  17. Although unwilling to discuss his new Yamaha pay deal, rumoured to have been doubled from 2 to 4 million euros a year, Lorenzo admitted that “if I was only interested in money, I would have gone to Ducati.” Ducati is said to have offered Lorenzo 6.5 million euros a year (second only to six time MotoGP champion Rossi, on 14 million a year). Makes you wonder what Stoner thinks of this?
  18. Think your spot on there Techno. next year we could see the passing of the crown. Still a good race left in Rossi though so you never can tell.
  19. Just a heads up. The BBC coverage for this round is being shown on BBC3 instead of BBC2. So if you have this on your planner it won't record unless you set it for BBC3. Its on at 7.45 pm by the way
  20. I know Rossi is a great rider but I think Ago's record will stand. he still quite a way off, and Ago had the benefit of racing in 2 classes when he took that. This was Rossi's take on it when he got the 100 Despite reaching his first major milestone in grand prix racing – winning his 100th race in the FIM Road Racing World Championship – Valentino Rossi insisted his future plans in motorcycle racing will not be influenced by the possibility of breaking Giacomo Agostini's record of 122 grand prix wins. Rossi insisted a number of times this season that he will keep on riding motorcycles at the highest level as long as he feels comfortable with it and continues to have fun. Of course, breaking records comes as a bonus, but at the end of the day it doesn't matter that much, argued the 5-time MotoGP champion. The Italian insisted that 22 more wins is not such an easy target as it may seem and revealed he'll decide next year whether going for that record is worth staying in the MotoGP from 2010 onwards Also just how good would Rossi be without Burgess?
  21. i have no doubt he will stay at Yamaha. is only concern with Yamaha is that he is not the number one rider. If he goes to Ducati he would still be number 2. Unless the rumours that Casey and the team have fallen out are true (something I very much doubt also). The Yamaha is THE bike to have at the moment, and Lorenzo knows Rossi is coming to the end of his career. Rossi himself states if JB wants to retire in 2010 then he doubts he would carry on. This leaves Lorenzo in the prime posistion. I also think Rossi will carry on at Yamaha in a consultancy role. Similar to Shumacher at Ferrari, and who wouldn't want Rossi in your camp helping with development. So no I don't see Lorenzo leaving. He just wants a little love from Mr Yamaha
  22. look at the crowd all looking the other way lol
