  1. its got banjo bolt and all i can see is the wires coming out of the top.i joined it somewhere under the tank near the regulator.not sure how to describe it just know that i followed the wires from the rear brake banjo bolt and hacked in somewhere in the ,middle.cheked connections and are fine.i do know there is a switch/sensor for the brake that connects when brakes are operated,a circuit is joined by magnet i think(oposite polarity) never heard of it before.anyway on my bike this sensor is all in one unit with the regulator, coil, interupter, digital spedo, etc and is expensive just to fix brake lights.hoping its just rear brake light switch.passed my d.a.s last week and want to sell so i can get vfr.oh sorry bike is 50cc moto/enduro husqvarna.

  2. both brake lights just stoped working.bulb working fine.fitted new front brake light switch when i got bike because it didnt have front brake light.(2 years ago).i piggy backed the wiring off the rear brake light and it worked fine.was wondering if now the rear switch had failed would it stop both from working. another poss i read about was a magnet sensor/switch but didnt reallly understand it.anyone got any ideas.thanks :?

  3. sorry to the eastangliabiker for my comments yesterday.had spent the day taking tank of and checking petrol for water, taking carb of and cleaning it,checking oil, wire connections etc.the magneto is hidden behind flywheel and after 2 hours trying to get it of without a fly wheel puller gave up.sprayed some wd40 in but that didnt work.so i was a little pissed of.will buy a puller of ebay and see if i can work it out.thanks for your help.everyone has a bad day.sorry.

  4. 50cc moto/enduro.rode bike on wednesday everything was ok.maybe a bit rough in 1st gear.anyway tried to start it yesterday and and it woulnt go.engine started, reved it like i normally do after kick start and it went for about 5 seconds and then the revs started to die away even whilst twisting throttle.this bike has a magneto and not a battery.i took carb of and cleaned it incase it is a fueling problem but no luck, just did the same thing again.am wondering if the heavy rain wednesday night done some damage.maybe the magneto is not working properly.dont know alot about them?.thanks for any help.

  5. yes i do have a clutch lever and do change gears myself and if i knew what a centrafugal clutch was i would have answered a bit better than my previous response you funny tosser.also how can i flood the engine while the bike is running.thanks for your time

  6. husqvarna moto 50cc.having trouble with speed pick up when i wind the throttle out.it stays at low revs and sounds like its choking/strugling to get up to speed, then after about 5 seconds the speed picks up the way it should.wondering if this is a carburetter problem.any ideas anyone :(

  7. failed mot because horn affected headlight.(blinks when pushing horn)had it checked by mechanic and all voltages and power where good.nothing wrong with bike.because it has magneto and not a battery the revs need to be up a bit higher than idle for it to work properly(which it does).i wired the horn direct to powersupply using seperate switch and it still affected headlight.i think the power surging up the wire is the problem but dont know how to stop it.is there some sort of electrical component or booster i can add into the wiring to stop this happening.50cc husqvarna ch racing.if i am being told that there is nothing wrong with the bike why are these mot people being such tossers.any help most welcome.thanks.ps runs on a/c not d/c. :crybaby:

  8. im gonna film it with the phone and try a few places, especialy the trials ones and i wont bring the bike unless i get a deff yes from them.thanks for help.

  9. i am in west london.done the profile thing as well thanks for the pointer :) .just wondered if there was anything else i could do to boost power to horn or light.someone told me to try lower watt bulbs but cant see how that would help.maybe a small batery or generater or something.dont no electrics very well and at a total loss.an mot man whose a biker and not one who is being so anal.thanks for help everyone.mattrick from west london.

  10. husqvarna 50cc ch racing. ive brought my bike for two MOT and it failed because horn interfered with lights, i.e blinked when pushed. had it checked by pro mechinic who checked voltages and wiring etc. found everything in working order, rang husqvarna explained problem they also said that this is normal and nothing wrong with bike, cause it runs on ac current it has magnito not battery. anyone know a MOT place which knows husqvarna bikes and what they are doing, and not trying to diddle me, or any advice would be welcome.

    thanks :D

  11. thanks guys.funny enough just after i posted this i went to halfords and bought the exact same kit you described for a tenner  just one quick question that might sound stupid ? the one way valve in the kit has an arrow on it.should the arrow be pointing towards the nipple or away. thanks

  12. just changed front brake pads and now front brake lever is very flat and pads are not holding the disc.do i need to bleed brakes or have i damaged caliper pushing back the pistons.i took the lid of master cylinder to push pistons back because it was so stiff and blew all the fluid out leaving the chamber empty and therfore leaving air in the when i toped it up.losened nut on caliper(fluid line)and pumped brake but no pressure build up at all.not sure if i losened right nut as ive never bled brakes before.i changed brake pads before but dont remember having to bleed them afterwards.what have i done wrong. :? thanks.

  13. ha ha.thanks for your help.im calling them controls not switches  .anyway will wait for ice to melt before doing anything, cant feel my fingers.bad weather for two wheels.
