I feel so much better now..... Me n the missus stayed up and watched race 1 and the supersport race on sunday morning.... It feels so gooood to have racing back on the telly..... I'm no longer tense and irritable....

They should stop using qualifyers... Keep the bikes on the track with soft race tyres and see who ends up fastest.... Qualifiers are a waste of time as they do not represent the true pace of the rider.... Appart from that the new format is a good idea...

Happy days are here again......... At last something worth watching on TV..... I have read 18 books since the last race of last year..... Ordinary tv is so boring....... Yippee!!!!!!

What year is your SV... I ask as I have a race can and pipework for an 04 which is for sale...

I would go for textile clothing as you are covered for if it rains and I find them not to hot when its warm.. Rode through germany in 2007 in 42 degrees with my textile jacket and leather jeans and was quite comfortable...

I use Day and Night lenses which I put in and forget for a month... As with all lenses it takes time for your eyes to become accustomed to them but now I have no problems with dry eyes... You can sleep in the ones I use so plenty of air gets to your eyes which means they don't play up at all... You can wear these lenses like normal ones if you wish but its surprising how comfortable they feel once you get used to them and now I rarely wear my glasses... Maybe for a couple of hours when I change them each month... The other alternative is to get your eyes lasered.... No glasses no lenses and perfect vision... if I was 20 years younger i would have mine lasered....

Typically one or a couple of people make a complaint and its stopped.... 200 plus disagree and complain to a planning office about a proposed building developement and they ignore them... Where is the justice and where is the consistency.... I agree with the previous comments and I think it should be buyer beware... They chose to live next to a race circuit SO LIVE WITH IT!!!!!

I found that dead flies work well as water proofing... I haven't cleaned any of my textiles yet... Can't be ar5ed.... If they leak I just spray em with the flies as well.... I prefer the lived in look.....

I bought a pair of Sidi Black Rain Evo's... £119...... Best I have seen anywhere else was £134..... I also found out that my head does not fit an AGV, Roof or Arai... Was told by a nice bloke who knew his stuff that I should get a Shoei XR1000.... Told him I already got one.... May have to look at a Shark helmet.....

If the shock doesn't have a ride height adjuster try getting some longer linkages (Dog bones)... Maxton engineering will be able to tell you how much longer they need to be and should be able to supply them as well.. I prefer Tarmac racing.... Used to do a bit of MX but knees and back gave up....

What is there to do now the racing season is over..... Its too early for curling.... What other sports are worth watching...

I have a ZZR1200 and I have a remote adjuster by the right hand passenger footpeg... I am not sure if the ZZR600 has the same adjuster but if it does just turn it clockwise 2 clicks... If not it will be a "C" spanner and skinned knuckles... Try riding it 2 up as is and see how it feels...

Its probably on the web somewhere..... Textiles can be more practicle all year round gear and are quite safe... I wear both but prefer textiles as you never know if it is going to rain when you are out...... Ok it because it IS likely to rain....

Mine feels better if you don't blip... But it gets a bit knarly if you try to do too many downchanges at once... Have always blipped on downchanges and have never crashed through the box..... Except on purpose when backing it in on the SV or when motocrossing...

Can you not be failed for coasting on your test.... If you hold the clutch in and bang down the gears you will be coasting and therefore not in full control.... Its what my driving instructor told me many moons ago...

I haven't taken the ZZR flat out yet.... 140 and still going on an autobahn last year with the missus and luggage on.... Just over 150 on me own.... But max speed so far is about 175....

I like the style of them.... Especially the carbon one.... Would need to shove me head in one before I was convinced....

Shoei XR1000 Helmet in Gloss black.... The most comfortable helmet I have ever had on my head and in my price range.... £245 with free dark visor... RST 2 piece leathers... Good fit at a reasonable price... £300 ish.. Akito Python 2 Textile jacket and trousers... Good fit and very good price... £140 ish Pair of Denim Draggin Jeans... Bloody brilliant and so cool.... £108 IXON winter gloves.... Cheap, Warm... Hate riding in winter gloves as there is too much of them... Its like trying to ride in boxing gloves....£20 ish... Swift boots... They fit which quite a few others don't.... £49..... They stops me feet from wearing out so they be ok... Will be looking to replace them with either Sidi Black rain evo or Alpinestars Roam.... Both waterproof, which the swift are not.... They will be around the £150 mark I think... Summer gloves do not have a manufacturers name on them.... They cost me £42 and are made of skippy skin.... Fantastic gloves which fit my monster hands (XXL)... Oddly my right hand is bigger by almost one full size than my left hand... I have a pair of Riche short sports gloves..... Next to no cuff but plenty of armour... My emergency spare helmet is a ROOF diversion R010 in Matt black with Black visor... £150... Will only use in dire emergency as it gives me a headache after 20 mins of riding.... Feels like windblast is tapping me on the front of my brain... I buy stuff because it fits my size and shape... Helmets have always been bought on this principle... Don't care about Arai being the best as they don't fit my head shape and are overpriced for what they are.... Race rep helmets are not worth the extra money and I prefer plain black, gloss or matt... Hope this helps.... Just remembered I have a Hiprotec back protector... Like a vest with a gusset strap, which I removed as I end up with a nasty wedgy, Protects from neck to but crack.... £92... Don't wear it very often as all my jackets have back protector inserts in...

I like Black round ones.... Bridgestone BT021's... They keep the ZZR on the road....

I like my Shoei XR1000 and I have a black visor on it.... Also have a ROOF Diversion R010 with a black visor which makes me look like the fly... Also look at CRAFT, SIMPSON and AGV S4....
