  1. i realy love the look of the black framed gt's (naked) and im wondering about getting one. but choice looks quite limited so i might have to get a silver framed one. so how hard would it be to spray it lack or would i have to get it done profesionaly. how much is it? thanks
  2. haha so true. and your right. ill have to watch out i guess.
  3. hi, im hopeing to get a cg or ybr for a first bike in about 6 months. i know its ages away but i was thinking. how hard is it to rebuild one? instead of getting a new/ working one for £1000+ i could get a realy old one that needs some tlc and spend those 6 moths fixing it instead of twiddling my thumbs wishing i had a bike. i know a fair bit bout push bikes (dont supose theres much similarity but its a start) and im quite mechanicaly minded. and i have a m8 that works in a garage if teh worst comes to the worst but hes not great. wouldnt let him near a new bike thats for sure. dose this sound like a good idea or the begining of an expensive mistake? thanks
  4. i thought steel toes where good? how durable are leathers e.c.t. im getting a cg first so wont need them most likely. at least not good ones. but i wil progress to a nice big sportsbike as soon as possible so i will deffinatly need them then. so would you say its worth investing in good gear to begin with? or will they just wear out and i need to buy new stuff in a year? i think when i get it i will just practice on some remote country roads to begin with. but theres alot i dont know about the road in general. it seems simple- ride on it. but on a second glance it looks tricky with lanes e.c.t.
  5. as ive said before im still 16 now and will be for a while. but when i am 17 and go for my cbt what can i do to keep safe? that day will be the first time ive been on the roads ever and though i will have an instructor it dosnt sound safe. and what about after when im let loose on the roads? so yeah what can i do to make sure im safe and know what im suposed to be doing?
  6. ops. dp. as a side note, what is a lifesaver? cheers
  7. great, thanks so much. i know its a vauge question.
  8. im hopeing to get my cbt in jully next year. i will get a cheap cg or other learner bike, then practice on it and take lessons to pass my full test. so long story short how many lessons will i probably need and how much are they? and how much are the mod 1 and mod 2 test? cheers
  9. Sorry, I didn't know this thread had been done before - I did do a search! Hope it hasn't peeved anyone, was just curious since it's like how if you're walking your dog and see another dog owner, they tend to smile or stop and chat, and thought it was a nice little reminder than people do still stick together for whatever similarities. lol dog walkers never smile at me, although thats usuraly because my dogs just tried to savage theirs . i cant say as i dont ride yet but im looking forwards to nodding at everyone and can someoone explain what 'power rangers' are? i presume they are people with black leathers and tinted helmets
  10. ok thanks. presumed so. i just want to get riding as soon as possible. ive got 9 months to get money /experience for my A2 test. how would you sugest doing this in the cheapest way possible? thanks
  11. great, thanks. exacly what i wanted to hear how hard do you guys think the a2 test is? is it possible to pass with no real bike experience? or will i need to have a 50 or 125 for a few months first?
  12. is it true you can take a cbt for a 50 cc bike at 16? and is that licence usable to progress to a A2 so i can ride a 250 when im 17? thanks
  13. im thinking of getting a bike and atm im thinking about practicality. how much stuff can you carry round on a bike? and how? thanks
