rac bolton

Hi i checked this morning my lights n stuff and realised my brake light does not work ! It comes on when pressing the front brake but not the back ? what should i check to get this working again. I did drop the bike on monday so it is prob due to this but i don't know where to start.

I do have the dial adjusters so will try that n some new fluid. will look into somebody else changing the rest as i feel it may not be a good idea for me to it...... Thanks

In the process of testing my my bike i have come to the conclusion that the brakes are rubish and if i did need to stop in an emergency at any speed it would have a messy ending ! I have had them checked and been told they are just that way. Is there anyway of upgrading these or do i just have to live with them ?

after several false starts i have finally passed my module 2 yeah. i got off to a wobbly start n thought it can't get worse. but once i had sort of forgot i was being followed I was fine. anyway this means i can now take my new bike out so i'm hoping for a good weekend !

Bad luck ! only passed mine recently and its so worth having some time on the bike before getting there. still had nerves but blew some anyway on the journey. Better luck next time

never thought of trying that way but i can see that working. just as well after posting this the instructor rang to tell me he had booked me in the following morning. had to do the swerve twice but passed

I have been doing a practising session today for my Mod 1 on my instructors bike a kawasaki er 5. Well i fell off twice both times trying to go through a small gap in low barriers. each time i wobbled and the weight of the bike pulled me over.... more to the point I couldn't pick the bike up either ! The instructor is happy for me to go for the test and is ringing to book this tomorrow... Anyway this has made me question if i wouldn't be better doing it on my bike as i know it much better... could do with some words of advice on this

would love to depending on the route you are taking as i am on L plates at the minute. but i am hoping i will have passed by then ?

yer i the case scenario bit on mine as well it was something to do with traveling in traffic near a school again with multiple choice answers. pratice test on the net were really good and a lot of the questions i had seen n knew the answers right off. you can also pratice hazard perception on the net as well. one site has a full 14 clips. this will help in the when n how to click as you can look back at these and it will show where you should of been clicking. i'll look for the site for you. yep its an owners handbook. I know the controls of the bike and it cuts my journey to work no more sitting in traffic so bonus ! I'm going give some tasks a try on my own got to buy some tools first thou ! But worried about doing something i can't fix so this may be limited I didn't get on with the other bike so swaped it n this one's nice but hope i don't have to ride it that long ....

Thanks lots to go on from the site but still no luck in finding a manual. I start small n work my up ! The bike came with a book directions may be in there i'll check
