think your right there fred, i do believe its a honda engine as for the chain and sprockets this link below is an ebay store iv just found for u, not had a proper look through it but there appears to be alot of pages of all vulcan motorcycle parts including the custom, just have a look through and see if they have the stuff you need, if not keep the link handy, im sure it will come in handy for something else http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/Vulcan-Mo ... My front tyre looks awful, i noticed before that it has begun to disintergrate, anyone know of any decent good value place where i can get a new tyre from Measurements : 90/90-18

ah right, well just double check when u by them that the paint wont react with the paint thats already on the helmet lol, dont want to end up with one big mess (especially not for an art class lol)

just thought id let u all know my indicators now work lol, im sorry its a bit late, forgot all about this thread with the whole CBT trouble i had, turned out when i looked at the flasher unit properly i saw battery acid down the side of the plastic, switched it and its been fine since, must of happened when i had the off just before xmas. just seems strange how it worked for a bit afterwards. Anyway apoligies again for forgetting to let u know lol

u cant actually paint a cheap lid as it ruins it and reacts with the helmet, not an expert on them but someone will be along with a price guide soon no doubt lol instructor told me this on my CBT, for some reason its stuck with me lol, dont know why

i was also taught to stay just to the left of the middle of the lane on my cbt but with these weather conditions i havnt done so as much as the 60mph roads round here are packed with crap at the side of the road plus the smaller streets are full of potholes especially on the left hand side of the lane, may be best to go along the 60mph roads with him a few times first so he can get used to the road and maybe get used to where a few of the bad spots are located

L Plates after CBT until full motorcycle test is done, its a good thing really because it makes you want to pass your test quicker to get rid of the damn things -

u sure thats not a recording of someone taking an angle grinder to ur bike lol nah jokes aside id take it back to the dealership if possible and get them to find out what it is just incase it is something to worry about. hope it works out for u mate

When i got the bike the battery was weak and the horn now sounds alot better but not quite full if u understand what i mean, it starts now with no problems at all but this has really confused me

Connections seem fine and clean, could it still be the flasher unit even though it works above 5k revs

My indicators stopped flashing a while ago when my battery went due to the cold weather but have now replaced the battery and the indicators still dnt flash, seems strange but when the bike is at 5000 revs they do flash, does anyone know what this is as it has puzzled me lol

Like the blog, will definately be keepin my eye on it, good to know how other bikers r getting on, im putting in for my test when this weather sorts its self out, it started snowing again today -
Rear Brake lights the light but not the front, check the switch/connections indys on permanent rather than flash, check front/rear bulbs a blown bulb can cause this, Thanks for this, been waiting all morning for someone to write back so i can just check what i need to when i get chance to have a look at it but it needs sorting coz i dont fancy a car rear ending me in this weather lol
