  1. i went with a freind . we travelled by public transport as both of us have free passes . we had a relaxed walk around the show was busy but not too crowded . there were all this years bikes and lots of really pretty girls at the show . my freind got a new helmet for £30 . there were lots of other bargains at the show . we saw the stunt show what had to be seen to be beleived . there are lots of videos of the show on youtube folks . if you see the jumping bikes one from the 5th feb you will hear a bloke laughing in the backround thats me ! the show was made better value as a disabled guest i show my freedom pass and get 2 tickets for the price of one . really enjoyed the show .
  2. there are usually loads of bikes there , i visit st osyths in summer and go when i can . great bunch of people , a small tescos store there too so if the pub does not have your favorite tipple , not that i would encourage drinking and driving but the pubs there so just the one then . roads around here are great . lots of quads about too . clacton is not far so if you are visiting relatives on a wendsday or maybee just going to the seaside or peir go on a wendsday and drop in on the way home .
  3. helmet is called a reevew . hope this helps . might be hard to track down as i have only seen it once at this show a few years ago
  4. i used to have bar end mirrors can be a pain if you have to go through an opening like a shed or doorway filtering too can be tricky . there used to be a crash hemet with a periscope inside it you had to look up to see behind you . had this at the alexander palace show about 4 years ago think it came from switzerland if i see it again will post name /brand / maker of said helmet . i dont think its a legal reqiurement to have mirrors fitted but not 100% sure im sure if you rang up a training school or poped in the police station they will give you the info you want
  5. the trouble with electrical faults they misteriously vanish when you take the bike to be fixed . i had terible trouble with a brand new bike once dying at the roadside the garage just replaced the entire ignition system on waranty no more problems . it seems you bought the bike to save you bus fares and all the agg thats associated with public transport and its cost you loads to try to get this fault fixed plus your bus fares . i hope they get this sorted out soon !
  6. a shop that i would recomend in london is sondel sports . its near highbury and islington tube station so you might be better going by tube .
  7. filter with care and attention , remember there are idiot car drivers who WILL open car doors in your path so make sure that you can stop . remember that if something does come the other way you will need to find somewhere to go . as long as you are fair to other road users everything should be ok . just keep your wits about you for the odd idiot !
  8. also your bike may have 2 bulbs one for front brake and one for back or just simply the bulb or fuse has gone try testing with a torch battery a bulb you know that works and wires then the suspect bulb and fuse not forgetting that these bulbs usulally have two circits one will be the normal light and on the brake light if both ok it wil be a matter of adjusitng or replacing the brake switch on the spring normally only 2 wires
  9. have been on the 5th warning there are loads of bargains to by so eitheir go by car or public transport if you intending to by something . DO NOT miss the stunt show its amazing and if any members have a disabled freedom pass its by one ticket get one free .(entry fee) had a realy great time but was unlucky that no one had any model stick together kits of motorbikes . i would have thought that one place that would have had one .
  10. try to get the exauhst welded up , would not take long probably cheap repair . make sure the person welding disconnects your battery before welding it though .
  11. i live in london but decided to visit nec show on its last day . i got a bargain fare ! £15 return from euston using midland rail changing at northampton . i had to wait a mere 15 mins for the train going up and had a relaxed walk around the show went in for a few competions , chatted to some pretty girls on the stands .of course i missed the hondas , ducatis and harleys but some ducati were there on a shops stand . i decided not to pay extra money for the blue light action show as its free at the london excel show (starting feb 4th folks ) anyway its been put on youtube . i also timed my exit from the show for the train coming home . i had a thoruoghly enjoyable time at the show and by the time i got back home the day had miraculously disapeared what was good because i cant work and sometimes i get very bored . just a few days now to do it all again at the london bike show but luckily not so far or expensive to travell
  12. as the show is over now . was a good show despite the abcence of notable manufacurers . i got the bargain of the year on train fare , £15 return from euston london on midland rail . the only stipulation was you had to change at northampton . was not bad train came in 15 mins going and one there going back. i timed my exit out of the show so i did not have to wait for train . i will put this tip for train fares when the show comes around next year for other people .
  13. i have been to this event twice . i must say i enjoyed myself thougroghly both times so i really reccomend it . the only downfall was a long ride from london . i did not think i was ever going to get there !
