its an automatic choke.the revs dont seem to be any higher

hi ive got a wee 50cc sudika scooter that is hard to start first time.once its warmed up its ok.i thought it needed a new choke [ato] so i got one from ebay.put it on and still the same.i mean it runs the battery down starting it.what else could it be

hi i got a non running sukida sk 50 qt.it was starting for a few seconds then stopping.I took the carb off and cleaned it and blew out jets.I noticed the float bowl was empty,so took the needle out fiddled with it and put it back in.now the bike starts,ticks over and runs well on the flat but wont go up hills it just dies and stops.any ideas?

hi i got a non running sym 50 and got it going[just needed a coil]everything was running sweet until i painted the exhaust,forks,and stands.once i put it back together it started then stopped .i havnt got it going again. now i didnt take the stands off i just lay the bike down on its sides to paint them.this made me think that i must have picked up dirt in the fuel,so i took off the carb and cleaned and blew out jets.[they were already spotless].checked that fuel was getting to it everything seems to be ok.still wont start just get the odd wee fire. anyone got any ideas

hi i just bought a non running sym fiddle 50 for my daughter.i got it going but the lights and electric start dont work yet the indicators and brake light works.is there a separate fuse [i cant see one]or what else could it be?

hi i just bought 2 intercom head sets of ebay.they have earphones,mikes.and handlebar push buttons.i also bought [of ebay] 2 x fire service walkie talkies [havent got them yet].have i got everything for bike to bike comunication.if so what way do i set it up?

i wired them to the full beam from the headlight.another thing when i first got the bike the headlight bulb was blown and i couldnt get one the same[handy].an auto spark told me he could convert it so a h4 bulb would fit and i could get them handy so i got him to do it.didnt notice untill winter and just though i needed a bigger bulb.didnt have to use the bike in the dark until now.thats why i got the spots

my lights are dim and only brighten up a bit when you rev.i put on a set of spots and a 55w bulb in the headlight but they are still dim.could it be my battery as its smaller than the original.everything else works just fine

done that still the same.it been a bit like that for some time but has got worse since i changed the oil 4 days ago.i just used the cheapest asda brand automotive 20w-50 oil. could that cause it?Cheapest ASDA brand Automotive oil..... CAR by any chance... if so get it drained and some BIKE oil in there instead 10W40 is usual...... cars and bikes have different gearbox setups and car oil will cause a bike clutch to slip... ok will do that.just a thought could it be somthing to do with gear selector

when changing gear my bike revs a bit then kicks into gear.its ok if you go easy on the trottle also its ok going up hills in top gear[its not sliping if you know what i mean]can i adjust anything or do i need new plates,springs or what

hi my chrome rusts easy so i got some acf-50 spray.now do i take the rust off shine it up then spray of take rust off spray and then shine or what?

tryed that.better but not great.there is one for a lifan 125 cheap on ebay. it looks the same as mine i have two. but it is for a single cylinder.will it do?

ive just started the bike in the dark and there is a sparking coming from the lead of the suspect cylinder.the lead and the coil seem to be all in one.if i just tape the lead up will that cure it or will i need a new lead and coil bear in mind anything is hard to get for this f**king bike,plus im skint

plugs not long new and caps and leads look ok but ill check in the dark and see if there is any sparks where there shouldnt be

hi i have a 4stroke 2cylinder lifan lf125-a.it starts on `1cylinder i think because only 1 exaust smokes[the other has air coming out tho]it idles but wont take trottle.if you let it sit for a while and it will idle to fast and rev ok.mess around choke and trottle on and off and it wil;l come back to idle better.take it for a spin and it will go on and off cylinder[remember i think]and the odd backfire,getting better as you go,but stop for a while and you are back to square 1.thought it was a fuel problem at first and cleaned carbs,filters,fuel lines ect 3 times now.can anyone shed any light on this one?

i had the tank off to give it more coats of paint prob shock up some dirt. f**k that must have had carbs off `10 times now. thanks ill let you know how i get on. get a 2quid inline filter and fit it in the fuel line. bollocks!bike went well last night after i sprayed carb cleaner in through where the air filter goes. started the bike this morning to go to work and the same thing.took the carbs and cleaned again.all jets clear can see through them,fuel lines clear running free,no air leaks on manifold,spark to plugs ok.what the f**k could it be.any ideas?

took the bike out today and all was well.done about 30 miles stoped at lights and it took off as if it was on only 1 cylinder.i say this because it went the same one time a spark plug cap came off.lucky i was in my home town so nursed it home.took off one plug and turned it over.the bike started and the plug out was sparking.its a 2 cylinder 4 stroke by the way.i cleaned the carbs out 2 weeks ago.any ideas?

drive dosnt turn.where can i get a speedo drive for this lifan[copy of honda cm125] i cant find one.just when im here when i go up the gears it revs until the next gear kicks in[its ok if you take it easy]once in gear you can rev it out full with no slip. only when you change.new cluch or what?

my speedo stoped working so i disconected it at the clock and spun the wheel.the cable didnt turn.thought new cable so took it off. turned one end and the other end turned also.whats up

took the bike out today and it seems ok.must have freed itself,and the reving must have been as chris says the choke stuck on slightly,thanks a bunch anyway oh another thing i just resprayed it and it looks a bit dull.what could bring up a good shine? did you lacquer it? a normal coat doesnt have the depth of shine.. did you lightly sand the finish prior to lacquer stage? brings out a true colour how many coats of lacquer..? the more the deeper the finish its needs a buffer, mechanical polishing mop with polish.. to bring it up to shine.. have a look for car valeters, they have these kind of tools and a bike shouldn't take long.. dont know anything about painting.i just fixed a dent with isopon sanded it,primed it and used 2 cans of honda rio red thats it.on this bike
