Thank you, on the case right now. . . I think it's going to be a long night ! But it'll be worth it, drum brakes are evil.

Hi, I just recently won a YB100 for the bargain price of £380 ! 12 months mot but no tax. I was just pondering the idea of fitting it with either front or both disc brakes and just wondered if anyone on the forum knew of any wheels that would fit straight into it or fit with minor adjustments maybe cb125 dream wheels or what not. Anybody had any experience with this? Thank you JimiB

I was out on my mums YBR the other day. And thats about the max i got out of it .> Even down a really long steep hill the speedo didn't go a millimetre over 65. So its pretty normal i suppose. I do believe its got a restriction there.

When i was learning to drive a car. ( Still not passed. ) Last year my instructor said thats what they want to do with the car test. Your choose somewhere with in reason to go. and you just simply drive whilst being observed by the examiner. -

I've done what my friend suggested to the back brake and it seems to have worked . though its still not tight. Just the spring isnt compacted to death.

Ok so i've got front and rear drum brakes on my cg125 copy. . http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash1/hs518.ash1/30522_1241330087204_1647877235_516928_969038_n.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash1/hs518.ash1/30522_1241330247208_1647877235_516930_401569_n.jpg But there so so so very loose? I've tightened them up to the point where i probably think they may actually be unsafe so i got new pads for them . went to change old to new pads but the pads aren't worn at all compared to the new ones. what can i do ? http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs538.snc3/30522_1241330207207_1647877235_516929_4702477_n.jpg a friend suggested taking this of and moving it to the left a little. Would this work? When i say this i dont mean the nuts to tighten the chain i mean the break lever thingy behind it. Like take it off and angle it more. help would be much appreciated. thank you very much in advanced. maybe i should of cleaned the bike first before taking photos.... Also how easy/hard would it be to put disc brakes on it ?

I took my wheel off lastime i changed my back tyre and the garage done it for free.

sun glare with helmet
JimiB replied to keith565's topic in Clothing, Luggage, Accessories and Security
same as wilko here. caberg . but i think the yellow tinted safety glasses would be good . uv protection . ( on some of them ) plus enhances light at night time. At the same time as reducing glare! Tailor suited if you ask me. -
thats the same as what i put in my cg125 4 stroke copy... Around 2 months ago .. Alls running smooth.
