  1. Passed today so it doesn't matter anymore, I think I didn't indicate on couple of mini roundabouts when the instructor said to go straight and these were kinda 3 way roundabouts. Kinda like on the example above.
  2. Congratulations alol74. I have passed today as well :D I am very happy :D Need to start looking for a bigger bike now.
  3. How to indicate on mini-roundabout (T junction style)? 1. When going from position 1 straight you indicate "left". 2. When going from position 2 straight you indicate "right". 3. When going from position 3 left or right you indicate accordingly. It's a mini roundabout so you don't indicate when exiting the roundabout as there isn't any time for this, so you indicate only once. On big roundabouts you going straight you would only indicate when leaving the roundabout, just past the last exit on your left. I am confused when it comes to indicating in example 1 and 2 when going straight. http://i945.photobucket.com/albums/ad292/apatia77/Random/raoundabout.jpg
  4. Congratulations and good luck on mod2.

  6. Good luck to you too. I managed to book my test for next Monday Fingers crossed

  8. Hi, I am having my MOD2 training this Thursday, also I am going to book my MOD2 myself now as my school hasn't got any days available for the next 2 months. Anyway I have 2 questions, I am doing the Restricted license A2 on my own YBR 125. When booking online the first page is - "Choose the category of test": Test Type: Bike Test Category Standard Bike MOD2 - correct? Then on Test category details page I have: Either engine size (cc): * or engine power (kw): Do I put there 125cc or 124cc as when I checked online spec of YBR125 it says 124.00 ccm. (Or maybe I'll just put there 10.05 HP (7.3 kW)) @ 10000 RPM) Thanks in advance
  9. I already have the training paid for with the same school, 1 day that is. Problem is that it seems there is 2+ months waiting time for MOD2 in all test centres around London atm. I'm thinking of doing the training now and then checking the booking website 20 times a day so I can pick up a cancelled appointment. And also I really would like to get MOD2 done in Tolworth as I know that area very well, Croydon area sucks big time and other test centres are 30-40 miles away from where I live.
  10. I once tried chewing a gum with my helmet on and it was a disaster, there simply isn't enough of room for jaws movement.
  11. I didn’t crash myself but one of the guys that went with me. He drove straight into a van, I recon it must have been the funfair that was next to the road that caught his attention. Luckily he was fine as he was wearing full gear however I can’t say the same about the Honda 125 he was riding. It was pretty tiring day for me. I had to ride 20 miles in the morning to Wembley, then had some rather rubbish training as I practised Mod1 only twice. Swerve 3 times, emergency stop 3 times (4 students in total and only 1 instructor). Then we rode 40 miles all the way to Farnborough. The instruction didn’t know his way very well as we got lost once and he had to ask for directions LOL. I had to do swerve again as I only got to 49km/h on my first attempt. Second was much better 54km/k and emergency stop which I recon I didn’t do very well was at 53km/h. Considering rubbish training I was provided so far I am happy as I passed, probably thanks to my experience on my own Ybr 125 which I ride every day. I can only say thanks to the examiner as he seems to be a very nice chap and 2 other guys passed before me. He even let me do my run 15 minutes earlier.
  12. That's impossible, this is not a taxi license test but test to show that you know how to ride a bike not the knowledge of the area.
  13. OMG, I have mod1 booked for this Saturday LOL, wish me luck
  14. I will be doing the full license as I am 30 years old, whats the point of doing the restricted one. From experience I know that unfortunately most companies want to sell you as many hours/days of training as possible. I feel very confident at riding my 125 now, I have no issues with anything imo, 10 years driving a car also helps. Over 1100 miles commuting in South London in the last 3 months. From what I read on the website (company I want to do the training with) 3 days training course is . 1st day - on the road on 125 (just like for mod2 but on 125) 2nd day - practice mod1, 3rd day - practice for mod2,
  15. Thanks for some advice, I'll keep you updated how my assessment went this weekend.
  16. I have done my CBT 3 months ago, have been riding my bike almost every day to work in London, have done over 1100 miles now on YBR 125. Recently I have passed my theory and I have booked an assessment day for this Saturday as I have decided to get my full license done now instead of waiting till next year. I also used to ride geared bike when I was a teenager for couple of years in different country. So I want to do only 2 day course but I have this feeling that most schools would probably want me to get 3 day of training as this is money for them but to me I recon would be waste of money as I can't see myself getting any more experience by riding a 125 on roads with them. All I want is them to teach me pass Mod1 first and then do whatever is required for Mod2 which i recon is only like 1 day on the road.
  17. I did mine recently from a cd that was from 2007 and all questions were the same.
  18. haahahaa, this helmet + http://i945.photobucket.com/albums/ad292/apatia77/Random/SkeletonZombieFULL.jpg = WIN WIN WIN!!!!
  19. Are you the same person that posted this on OcUK forums too? I have ordered one of these cameras this morning and will test it on my bike
  20. Don't give up just yet, next time you'll pass for sure. I am just surprised how many people fail to get the required speed by just 1-3kph. There is no common sense in this test and surely there should be a small margin for an error. I am doing my MOD1 next year but I am worrying already.
  21. The training isn't free and I have spend about £2.5k on my first bike and clothing etc in the last 4 weeks and my saving are low now. I have now ybr 125 and I ride it every day so I get the experience that I need for bigger bikes and the tests. Hopefully by next year I'll have few thousands miles of riding a geared bike experience which should lower the costs of training needed for module 1 and 2. Well this is my plan.
  22. Oh, thats cool. I did my CBT a month ago, so I will do the theory over winter and then spring time I'll start doing my modules.
  23. DSA - how long is each test valid for? I've tried to search but found nothing. So you need CBT, Theory and then Module 1 and Module 2 for DSA. I know that CBT is valid for 2 years but how long is the Theory and the rest tests valid for? What is the time limit that you need to get all the test done for DSA? Thanks in advance
