You could actually do quite a bit of work to gain performance and reliability but at cost due to the type of work and part's reworked and or replaced. Valve,cam,crank, piston's,rods,clutch,carb/injection,bore. You could Go on forever and if you do the mechanic's yourself, find a cheap enough machine shop capable of the machining???
