I'd go with a meet then a ride out. Meeting is good to see everybody from the site, but it's also good to get out and do what we lurve... Which is riding bikes of course. I am no riding god and what I can gather from talking to other people is that the fast guys take the lead and off they go, followed by the not so fast guys and the ones who maybe a little nervous or ain't as experienced as some can bring up the rear. We have a designated meeting point at the end and that way everybody can enjoy their ride without feeling under any pressure to keep up with the guys in front of you. Then we stop have some food chat idly under the steady gaze of the sun whilst extracting urine from innocent victims then we can pootle off on our merry way!

I'll be on my way home from Scotland on the 8th So soz won't be able to make this un! But the next one ?

MMmmm maybe you're right. Even though it would be a reet feather in ya cap to say that you've done the trip in one day. But safety has to be the key. I'll have a caht wi the missus and see if she can get the days off and I'll keep every one posted. Gav

Me and technohamster are meeting in the carpark of a pub right at the beggining of the A64 at 10 if you wanna meet up and ride over? Can't remember the name of it but it's the very 1st pub on the left hand side after you come off the roundabout at seacroft I think it might be called the red lion.

Yeah there is we took our caravan over to Burton Flemming on Friday night and I noticed detour signs regarding Stamford Bridge

What say keep an eye on weather and then decide? I had the coast in mind as I aint been across yet this year and it's a great run out, I love the east coast. Robin Hoods Bay down to Bridlington. But I'm easy and I'll go along with the majority.
