  1. Good night - long day for me as first day back in the office after working from home for the best part of 9 months. I liked working from home...
  2. Aww, thanks everyone for the great comments. Waiting patiently for my next ride. Neck/shoulder were ok after the rideout, clutch hand was sore though! Lol!
  3. So after 12 years of not being on a bike due to a prolapsed disc in my neck, on Sunday 22nd Nov, we took my new bike for a ride. I've bought myself a MT Rapide carbon fibre helmet, which is incredibly lightweight as well as the GT750. Fil (my better half) followed on his Triumph Tiger 1200 & we managed 93 miles around Herefordshire and Worcestershire, with a couple of stops. Cold day, but good to be back. Took a couple of photos as below. Need to clean the GT, which isn't one of my strengths...maybe wheel her out of the garage tomorrow & get the mud off...
  4. Thanks - she has 12825 miles on the clock from new, so barely run in!!!!!
  5. Hi Six30 - No, this is at M&P in Swansea. This bike was part of the collection that the owner has which he periodically goes through and decides what to keep and sell.
  6. Hi, This was me back in March, pre lockdown, trying the GT750 for size - she arrived last week finally from the dealers.
  7. So how is the GT after a few months? I've acquired a 1982 P1 in gold last week, with 12825 original miles on the clock. She is a dream to ride. As per one of the other comments, I'm returning to biking after 12 years off due to health problems. The GT seems to be a good choice for me. Enjoy!

    Hello!

Hi, I'm returning to motorcycling after 12+ years of enforced time off due to a prolapsed disc in my neck (which has been replaced with an artificial disc). Finally, 9+ years post surgery I am well enough to get back on a bike. I have owned bikes since I was 19, started on a CZ125, several different Kawasaki's and a couple of Suzuki's. I sold my GPz550A4 back in January this year. Have now taken ownership of a Kawasaki GT750P1 in Gold, 1st registered in Sept '82 and only has 12825 genuine miles on the clock. An early model as the frame number is in the 300's, the engine number is in the 5000's. Pleased to say that the first ride on the GT went well, no pain in my neck or shoulder and the bike is a joy to ride. I remember why I liked riding a bike, before I started to suffer with pains in my neck. And my nickname is because I used to own a GPz750 Turbo and a Corrado G60, with a stage 2 Supercharger. All the best, Kaz
