I was very pleasantly surprised by the contents of the box, took a lot of items off my eBay watchlist!

It's ok, luck upon luck!, when I picked up this basket case from the seller (who assured me there were no carbs) there was a box of parts, with carbs sat at the bottom of it, cue one very happy me. I no longer need carbs :-)

As it turns out they are 36mm mikuni carbs too, good shout, apparently the engine is canted at a different angle, but I haven't found the angle figures yet, could still work, thanks.

Indeed, did it myself once, luckily they weren't for one of these so I don't have to beat myself up over it

I've got my hands on a basket case RF600 and I need a set of carbs for it, would also take RF900 carbs. Missed two sets on eBay which were £70 each, they sold before I officially took this on, typical! Anyone got any lying around they would sell? Maybe after more parts yet too...

Yeah to be honest, I'm not overly worried, just can't be arsed buying and riding round on a 125 for the sake of "practice" so hoping I'll get through it doing a few days training and the tests

Not of the tests! Used to rip around on bikes when I was a yoof, but it's been a long time. Got my theory and hazard mystification next week, kept clicking too early on the practise videos, guess that's what nearly 25 years of avoiding idiots does for your hazard perception, got used to when they want you click now though.

Hello, thanks for letting me in, I'm finally going for my bike licence after not having had one (a bike) for about twenty years. Hope the tests aren't as hard as people say...
