Did mine in ippy a few weeks ago, got there 20 mins early, and they let me straight in. Got through it really quick, and left as soon as I was done. Result was ready before I'd even got my stuff out of the lockers. I reckon I was in and out in half an hour.

I had an hours training before my mod 1, but failed it today. Did everything perfect except I clipped a cone coming out of the corner. No idea how or why. Instructor said he had never seen it happen before. I'm planning on 2 hours training for mod 2. I'm paying 40 an hour, not sure if that's good or bad, but was my only hourly option round here

Just failed my mod 1. Clipped a cone on the inside exit of the corner, just before the swerve. Instructor said no one had ever clipped that cone. Can't believe it. f**k IT.

They don't provide a bike. Its costing me £40 to use one, for tomorrow actually!

Damn! I booked mine today, will be doing it on a 500 for DAS, and chose big bike! Non refundable as its 3 days away. Can anyone confirm this? I'll call them tomorrow see what the dealio is.

I passed mine first time last week, and agree with the above. I clicked about 8 times per clip. Learn what to look out for. In towns, zebra crossings, cars pulling out, in the country, cars coming round bends. Round about people changing lanes etc. The only clip where the hazard was unexpected was sheep jumping out into the road haha. Click when you see a possible hazard, click when it becomes a hazard, and click just as the brakes come on. That's what I did and got 55 I think. I got 0 on the double hazard. Sheep caught me out.

No tv at work thanks to the DIGITAL TAKE OVER. I've turned it on at least 6 times out of habit. Just static f**k it.

Passed my theory today, so now want to get my DAS booked. I'm in Ipswich, can anyone recommend me anywhere? At the minute I'm going for http://www.academyofmotorcycling.co.uk as its the cheapest. I've got the money to do this, well, once really. So I'm going to do mod1 training + test, then a few weeks later mod2 training + test. Is there a cheaper/more fool proof way of doing DAS? I've been commuting every day for about 9 months, so am fairly confident, but don't want to risk doing it in a 4 day block. Thanks James

Ring your bank and explain the situation. I had the same thing happen to me but in Spain. The bank proved I was in England as I had used my card that same day. I got all my money back. Dont give up and keep at the bank. Bank is insisting I sign a form to say it wasn't me. Which apparently cannot be faxed, emailed or done in a branch. So it will be Tuesday before they will start investigating. I think ill phone them again.

Checked to see if my wages went in this morning, only to find my account empty. Some **** in America got my card details somehow, and have spent 400 notes on a site which writes essays for you. Lazy thieving cheating bast*rds. That's the money I've saved for my DAS gone, was going to book it if I pass my theory next week. Bank can't tell me when ill get it back .

Recently had this exact problem. Turned out to be dead battery. When hooked up for a charge, and it was obviously flat, it would only do a maintance charge, rather than a full charge, and still be totally flat afterwards.
