I can get the Laser Lites for free off a pal of mine, just thought I'd try some others. Came home yesterday to find the oh standing with a bag saying my delivery had come, checked the bag and only 5 pairs. on further inspection and after asking the beloved where the envelope was, seems that one of the lads in the pub must've shoved a few pairs through the door for me who says generosity's dead?

got given a pair of those off a mate, who got them from work. can't really get away with them tbh

so what ear plugs would people recommend then? tried a few so far, just ordered some Howard Leight Max. 10 pairs for £2 or so, guess it doesn't matter if i don't like them for that price

spent the time since my last post looking through the section. only got as far as page 11! kept seeing threads that interested me, so i've spent ages looking at photochromatic visors, mirrored sun visors, and helmet skins. in regards to the op, i'm winning at the minute (probably not for long) on a certain site. and to the link, my pal has a cheap version of those and you can get them on afforementioned site for around £10. my only concern was that i'd rather have a waterproof camera that doesn't get wet, than have one which isn't and get caught in a downpour. know that it's not a great deal of cash, but in these times and with 2 kids - i'm lucky to have the bike tbh. so every penny counts. i'm sure we all recognise the look when you say to the other half "have you seen this? i fancy one of those"

is it the first time tank n tailer? if so the whole thing unzips so you can fold the magnetic flaps under and then there's nothing hanging except the seat strap and bungees

sure they recommend changing the lid every 5 years, depending on use. is it worth forking out on bits and pieces for a helmet which should really be changed soon?

i have the same kind of thing. only problem being, if i get pins and needles i can't really wiggle my fingers to get the blood flowing again. thought of cutting it a few times but i figure if i do, i'll wish i hadn't

don't worry bout it, it happens. at least it was the cheap test. had something similar on mine, bike was fine all the way to the test centre and as soon as i rode it into the yard i couldn't get neutral. which i forgot about on the manual handling part. not good trying to push it in first in a test situation. examiner was fine about it though

oh and watch the speed, the limits change constantly round there

don't get me wrong, they will direct you for a fair old chunk of the test, but that's easy enough. just gotta remember to relax. oh and try not to get any songs stuck in your head in the morning or you'll be singing all through your test like i did

Congrats on the test, i was nervy getting on my 600 when i first got it about 2 weeks after my test.

from dunston, where the test centre actually is (just by the metrocentre), basically head towards hexham. that's what the tester told me to do on the "free ride" section

Nah, there was a thing on watchdog a week or two back about private parking firms using the word fine in their literature when they have no legal power to enforce a "fine"

try a few places. I booked my DAS with the school, had 1 lesson and they moved my mod 1 forward (as they'd already booked the space) i booked an extra lesson before hand and they booked my mod 2 too.think most places you just need to tell them you want to do your DAS and they book everything for you
