My Caberg was the same, in heavy rain water came through the air vents. For gods sake don't buy a Caberg Konda, I changed my Justissimo for one and eventually gave up with it, it was awful.
-
Well gave it a go and yep you are right loads if crap came out, seemed like it was full of sand!!! I suspect during all the wet weather they have been filling with grit. Ill see how they feel tomorrow when I go to work, but I suspect the discs are on their way out.

Honda CG - Bike sticks and squeaks when setting off or roll
Nogin replied to rossibizatdi's topic in Pitstop
I would say its the brakes, are they disc or drum. As for the chain tight spots usually mean its had it. Check the links you can try to loosen them up with oil etc but as its a CG it may be easier for a new chain and sprocket set. -
I'm so bored I've... Cleaned out the guinea Pigs, Cleaned the bike, tidied the bed room, changed the bed cloths, cleaned the kitchen, went shopping for the Mrs. The up side was I have written a review for my textile jacket on here...

Its been throwing it down with rain all day and I'm stuck inside, I've cleaned and checked the bike over, normally on my day off i'd go for a spin but today its a no no... Yeah I know i'm a woos, but there is no point getting soaked just for the sake of it!

Jacket was purchased in Lincoln on 12/07/12 for £199 I was given a £50 trade on on my old jacket. During a wet summer it did not take me long to realise the waterproofing had gone on my old and much love Shoei jacket a jacket I had owned for 7 years was leaking like sive. i had purchased second hand of ebay for £20 so it didn't owe me a penny. I spent 2 weeks searching ebay but found myself really reluctant to buy anything with out trying it on first. I ride almost every day come rain or shine so I want a jacket that did the job well. I was told that Hein gericke were doing a trade in so I popped over to have a look, my budget was £100 I looked at their cheap range and dismissed it quickly so I threw another £50 in to the bag and looked at the York range. Its a good fitting jacket, with a zip out thermal lining. it has pockets everywhere and a zip so you can attach it to you trousers. If you are wearing jeans it has a strap that you can unfold from the back and clip to the front to stop you jacket riding up. Its also a quality jacket it just feels better made than some other I looked at. Its got summer zip vents in the arms, chest and back and they are BRILLIANT, made riding in the summer heat so much better and cooler. Armour is good, shoulder, arm and basic back protection. They do a better bit of insert back armour but due to HG closing some of its shops its not available. I recently rode 15 miles in very heavy rain and it did not leak once its comfortable and I went for a medium as I like a firm fit rather than a loose fit, The guy in the shop said the Large was too big for me it looked and felt too loose. I got a 2 year HG guarantee with it. The only thing I don’t like about it is the flap at the front that covers the Zip could do it Velcro holding it shut rather than poppers, other than that its £150 I think well spent.

Cheers Ben ill be taking them apart tomorrow as I have a day off will give it a go. Thanks a for the advice

The pads are origional Honda ones, but I did wonder if they were sintered and this may be the problem. Its a cheaper option I may give it a go. I think the Discs are pretty much dead but it will all depend on if I keep the bike or trade it in.
-
Well that the dilemma, I'm thinking of trading her in anyway so if I do there is no way ill be spanding £300 on new parts. I guess its another reason to move on.
-
When i first put the pads in about 1500 miles ago, they vibrated like hell, but now about 80% of that went, very quickly after about 100 miles. I'm pretty sure they were not that bad before the new pads however it could be I never really noticed it. I rode my mates RR the other day and his brakes felt a shed load better. I appreciate they are better then my old F's brakes but there is a most definate brake vibration when stopping at speed.
-
Since I replaced my my pads on my CBR (4 months ago) I've noticed a bit of vibration when I brake hard or brake while at speed. Correct me if I'm wrong bit I suspect that my discs are as old as the bike and worn, however they are not warped. I'm thinking that the new pads are causing the shudder for some reason. They are well bedded in. At slow speed no probs but at high speed it's a bit shakey! Oh this brings me to the cost of new discs... How bloody much!!!!! I cheapest so far £275 inc pads!!! Gees it's mad.

You have the till reciept and its all ok... what are you worried about? that alone proves she has not done it, this coupled with the CCTV you have nothing to worry about. Jon done, but yes it would be nioce to know who is behind it. My only advice if you want to string it out is let them prove it.

For belly dancers, black pudding and access to a garage, I will be your wife. After careful consideration I have decided to decline your offer.... There is just no way you are having access to my garage!
-
Go out and buy a belly dancers outfit and about a tonne of black pudding! Then hide in the garage!
-
Tia very true Matty, but is making people smile and happy except Mrs Nogin who will beat me when she sees this thread, or Little Cat who will probably do the same... Mind you I could get lucky is suppose!
-
Yep, going to have to hide in the garage with my other love! Lol
-
Hey I'm being serious! Looking to set up a harem and with that bluntness she will fit right in, perfect Mrs Nogin no2! To sweeten the deal I'll throw in a belly dancers outfit and as much black pudding you can eat...
-
