Hi thanks for the info, on my bike the connector blocks have male connectors so in theory the ignition switch loom should have female to accommodate. Unfortunately on all early looms attached to the ignition switch they have male connectors so I’d have to try and remove the blocks and add the correct connectors. ive tried using pins from each block but seem stumped so was wondering if you would know the exact wire configuration. thanks again

Hi looking for some advice, my ignition switch on my 2003 Yamaha fazer fzs 600 has packed up on me and I need to change it, the problem being I cannot get hold of a second hand ignition and a new one will set me back over £250. I have been told that the earlier model ignition will work but the wiring on the earlier models(sold on ebay)are of different colour coding. if anyone knows what wire match’s on the bike loom to the ignition loom this would be of great help. Thanks in advance
