If the 2006 swinging arm is going back on that bike why don't you order the 2006 bearings? Any main dealer will be able to look up the part number for you. Also I hope you have blanked off the holes where the new bearings are going to be pushed in. The powder coating can be a right pain the bum to get out if you havent.

Turn the tap to the 'off' position, that should stop the juice pouring out. lift the tank up, get a mate to pull all the pipes off, rembering where to put em back, and bobs your uncle fannies your aunt!

Well I want to start a lobby to bring back white dog poo!!!! It was far nicer to tread in than the brown gungy stuff you have nowadays! Back when I was a lad you didn't really care if you stood in a whitey cause it would just fall off!!! But now,,,,,,,oh no, it's like a bloody explosion has gone off on the bottom of ya foot....... What's the lateset Scoobs?? Did you get any joy when you picked it up?

Also you didn't say what year the bike is and whether it is injected. Could it be that the ecu has picked up a fault somewhere else and has gone into 'safe' mode. You may need to get a dealer to plug it in the pooter and check it out.

The bike isn't strapped down on the chunnel. I just sat on the floor next to it with my foot up against the back wheel when it started to rock a bit. Most of the journey is pretty smooth and there is no need to touch it. Has anybody though about going to the Bol D'or????? Then maybe a spin down to the Alps or summat?? Maybe go for a week?
